Jia Pingwa is a writer with a long Standing Passion in contemporary Chinese literature.From 1973 to the present,he has produced a series of new works.Jia Pingwa’s local imagination has clearly evolved over the past 50 years,he continued to perfect his imagination of native land and his way of writing his works as a documentary of native land.His writing revolved around the land under his feet and the people on it,with the writer’s literary spirit and cultural ideal of singing for the times flowing between the lines,he interprets his imagination and understanding of China’s native land with his unique artistic vision,and restores the real development of contemporary China’s native land,therefore,it has established its important position and influence in the contemporary Chinese native literature and Art Palace.The direct reflection of the evolution of the local imagination in Jia Pingwa’s novels lies in the diachronic evolution of the people and things in his local writing,which is a direct and concrete manifestation of the evolution of the local imagination in his novels.In Jia Pingwa’s novels,the characters in the local imagination are changed from the rural builders who follow the spirit of the historical times to the rural vagrants who are out of order,and then Jia Pingwa returns to the context of the local novels,it depicts the“Watchman”and the “Exile”,and the description of the rural scene in the novel changes from a rural landscape as a contrast to the city to a cultural space based on Shangzhou world,shangzhou world,a geographical space of local culture with the typical symbol of Jia Pingwa’s local imagination,also experienced the change of internal cultural images after it was shaped in its novel writing.Jia Pingwa’s construction and change of the geographical carrier of the local imagination,Shangzhou world,shows the external transformation of the local people in the social transformation stage and the psychological transformation of the individuals in the process.The evolution of the content of the local imagination text in Jia Pingwa’s novels is based on the evolution of the corresponding novel construction.The content and form of the local imagination are an inseparable whole,jia Pingwa’s local imagination has also undergone a clear change in writing techniques and aesthetic patterns.The calm,slow pace of the narrative,the loose,fragmented narrative layout,quietly replaces the traditional realism of Jia Pingwa’s early writing,the narrative mechanism of the local imagination in the novel changes from the traditional plot-centered mode to the “Life-stream”mode,which emphasizes the characters rather than the stories.Jia Pingwa’s emotional attitude and value position towards the native land are shown by the change of the aesthetic mode of the novel.The fresh and vivid language is merged into the classical Chinese vocabulary in the middle of the narration,and later transformed into the extensive local dialect,vulgar words and expressions frequently appear in the use of rhetoric,but also from the literary and lyrical function of the transition to focus on the objective expression of line drawing.Under the influence of the pastoral aesthetic tone,Jia Pingwa paid more attention to the warmth ethics of the rural China,and when the poverty of the rural China came into the writer’s artistic vision,Jia Pingwa changed the aesthetic expression of the rural imagination,began to lament the feelings of the country to judge the current and recall the memory of the country.The change of the local imagination in Jia Pingwa’s novels is not only the result of the constant adjustment of the writer’s creative ideas and demands,but also the inevitable result of the textual transformation of the current local Chinese society,the local imagination in his novels is intertextual with the development of the local society in China.The realistic prospect of China’s social transformation and Jia Pingwa’s creative idea of seeking novelty and change have brought about a change of local imagination in the novel text.The dynamic imagination of rural China in Jia Pingwa’s novels reproduces and conforms to the historical process of social transformation in contemporary rural China,and Constructs a unique Chinese literature.However,it should be pointed out that in recent years,Jia Pingwa’s rural imagination has gradually solidified,his growing conceptualization of the city and the country,and his stereotyped writing of old people and women,limited the evolution of his rural imagination,which was a bottleneck that he struggled to break through.In Jia Pingwa’s vast literary horizon,the influence and conventions of the word“Local”can be clearly seen,and the imagination of Chinese local runs through every stage of Jia Pingwa’s novel creation.Analyzing the development of Jia Pingwa’s local imagination from the perspective of evolution can not only clarify the changes of Jia Pingwa’s creative ideas in different periods,but also grasp the core of Jia Pingwa’s novel creation more precisely,therefore,we can understand the uniqueness and innovation of Jia Pingwa’s novels,which can be used for reference for Chinese native writing and the Study of contemporary native novels.
