| Zuo Si is a representative figure of Western Jin literature.His creative process probably started from the Taishi period of Emperor Wu of Jin to the Taian period of Emperor Hui of Jin(between 270 and 303 AD),which basically coincided with the rise and fall of the Western Jin Dynasty.In the history of literary criticism,Zuo Si’s poems and fu have been highly evaluated,but for a long period of time,his status was obviously inferior to that of Lu Ji and Pan Yue.After the Song and Ming Dynasties,Zuo Si’s works gradually tended to surpass Lu and Pan in literary criticism,and the focus of academic circles shifted from fu to poetry,and Zuo Si gradually became a unique master in the history of literary criticism.Sui Shu Jing Ji Zhi contains two volumes of Zuo Si’s Anthology,also known as "Five Volumes" in Liang Dynasty,and Old Tang Shu Jing Ji Zhi and New Tang Shu Yi Wen Zhi both contain five volumes of Zuo Si’s Anthology.However,the existing official and private catalogues of the Song Dynasty have no records.Zuo Si’s Anthology was lost in the Song Dynasty,and there are few editions.In-depth arrangement and research are urgently necessary.The First Part of this article is compiled as a study of Zuo Si and his works,and is divided into three chapters.The first chapter Life and Creation of Zuo Si focuses on sorting out Zuo Si’s family background,life and creative process according to the existing literature,and summarizes and reviews the content and style of his works,and researches the circulation and compilation of Zuo Si’s Anthology;the second chapter The Rise and Fall of Zuo Si in the History of Literary Criticism combines the comments of Zuo Si in the literature and classics of the past dynasties,and analyzes the reasons for the change of his status in the history of literary criticism.The study of Sandu Fu,and textual research on the creation time of Sandu Fu.The Second Part of this article is "The Collation and Annotation of Zuo Si’s Anthology".Zuo Si’s existing works include Qidu Fu,Sandu Fu(with the Preface),White Hair Fu,Eight Poems of History,"Two Poems of Zhao Yin" and "Miscellaneous Poems",Two Poems of Giving My Sister,Poems of Lovely Girls and Qi Feng,a total of six poems,fourteen poems(excluding the four sentences of the fragment),one Qi and one Preface,together with twenty-one works,including Qi Du Fu and Qi Feng only have remnants of sentences,which are no longer complete.The rest of the works are mainly preserved in collections and books such as Wen Xuan,Yu Tai Xin Yong,and Yi Wen Lei Ju,etc.Now according to the order of style,select the rare book as the base for re-editing,then collation and annotation,with a collection of commentaries and try to provide a more reliable book for the academic circle,and give it a reference for the Literature and Bibliography researchers of the Wei-Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties in China. |
