Change is a constant of culture and an eternal phenomenon of all cultures.Throughout the world cultural history,the culture of any country,nation or group is in the process of emergence,development,change and regression.Balance and stability are the relative state of culture,while change and development are the absolute state of culture.Culture will change with the internal and external changes of society.The speed of change and its forms of expression are very different due to different specific circumstances.This paper takes three migrant communities settled in Chengdong District of Xinghai County as the research object,makes a detailed comparative study on the culture before and after migration from the material level,institutional level and spiritual level,and analyzes the reasons and characteristics of the cultural change of migrant communities.The migration and settlement of herdsmen have made herdsmen leave the original production area and begin to find a new way to make a living in the new living environment,which has changed the identity of herdsmen.However,culture is a whole,and the change of any part will lead to the change of other parts.When the livelihood of herdsmen changes,it will also extend to many aspects of herdsmen’s life,such as clothing,food,housing and transportation,marriage and funeral,folk beliefs,ideas and so on.In addition,the development of electronic media,the adjustment of multiculturalism and the recognition of mainstream culture also promote the adaptability of immigrant culture to a great extent.When culture changes,the change speed of each part is inconsistent,some changes are fast,and some changes are relatively slow.From the analysis of the characteristics of the cultural changes of the three migration communities in Xinghai County,the superficial institutional culture,such as housing,diet and clothing,has a strong dependence on the environment,is directly restricted and affected by the environmental conditions,and has changed rapidly with the integration of immigrants into urban life.It is also the most intuitive and easy to imitate.The changes at the institutional level are mainly reflected in the systems,etiquette and customs of immigrants in the fields of economy,marriage,family and so on.With the exchange with other cultures,many elements of different cultures have been absorbed and local changes have taken place.Some deep-seated cultures are still continuing,and the change of environment has little impact on them.It is a deep persistence of culture.Horizontally,culture spreads in communication;Vertically,culture develops on the basis of inheritance,which is the process of cultural development.
