Taking the artistic features of yellow earth-themed landscape oil painting as the entry point,this article analyzes the customs and artistic value of the Loess Plateau,and studies the creative language of painting.It integrates the artistic characteristics of the Loess Plateau landscape oil painting and the author’s insights on landscape painting creation during his graduate studies,and incorporates them into the painting practice,completing the author’s graduation creation-the "Longdong" series of works.This article consists of four chapters: In the first chapter,an overview of the yellow earth-themed landscape oil painting is provided.The first section outlines the development process of the yellow earth-themed landscape oil painting,from its embryonic stage to its formation and prosperity.The second section explores the techniques used in yellow earth-themed landscape oil painting,including traditional transparent techniques,the transformation from inherent to subjective colours,3D modelling to flat decoration,and from traditional techniques and materials to contemporary integrated materials.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of representative styles in yellow earth-themed painting,including the expressive style represented by Bai Yuping,the realism style represented by Shang Yang,and the expressive style represented by Duan Zhengqu.The third chapter elaborates on the artistic characteristics of yellow earth-themed landscape oil painting in graduation works.Learning from the artistic experiences of predecessors,combining with personal painting practice to complete the graduation work.The fourth chapter reflects on the thinking and insights from the graduation work. |
