Exploration And Expression Of Loess Plateau Theme In Oil Painting Landscape Creation

The Loess Plateau is one of the four plateaus in China,located in the north of central China,including Shanxi,Shaanxi,Gansu,Ningxia,Qinghai and other provinces.It is world-famous for its caves built by mountains,calm appearance and ravines and mountains,attracting many artists to take root here and willing to spend their lives feeling and exploring the humanistic customs of the plateau.Looking back on the development of China’s oil painting in the past hundred years,oil painting landscape has always played an important role in art history.Based on the influence of the unique regional culture of the Loess Plateau on the creation of oil painting landscape,this paper discusses the formal language characteristics of oil painting landscape in the Loess Plateau,lists the representative painters Su Gaoli,Jin Zhilin and Bai Yuping,and expounds the connotation of their works.Based on the exploration of the theme of the Loess Plateau in the oil painting landscape,this paper clarifies its own creative ideas from the perspective of learning the representative painter’s expression form and painting language,and completes the graduation creation.The focus of the article is the practice part of the third and fourth chapters,which mainly expounds the ideas and methods I have learned in the creative process,and illustrates my study of oil painting techniques and the expression of emotions in the creative process with some works created by myself,so as to tap the unique regional cultural charm of the Loess Plateau,and at the same time,I want to attract more scholars’ attention to this land and hope to inspire them to explore the excellent culture bred by this vast land.
