| At this particular time of the epidemic,many foreign students were unable to study in China.For the sake of teaching progress,“Online teaching” has emerged as the preferred method for educators and pupils,and online teaching software has become the bridge between teachers and students in the classroom.This paper adopts an interactive teaching method for online teaching design,so that raise the level of provision and produce excellent learning outcomes,Interactive teaching refers to the use of multiple interactive methods for instructors and tutors to collaborate and engage with each other in the provision of the course content,and to be involved in communal class activities to facilitate the holistic progression of the pupils.This teaching method advocates a shift from teachers simply teaching knowledge to teachers and students being able to inspire and cooperate with each other,forming an interactive and collaborative learning mode,and is also the basis for the Integrated Chinese for Beginners course.The Integrated Chinese for Beginners course is a compulsory course for first year international students.Its content includes a large number of basic Chinese communicative situations,definite linguistic background and integrated drills on listening,speaking,reading and writing abilities in elementary Chinese,which provide trainees with a secure foundation of the language for residence and learning in the destination country.This article selects the text Pen Friends,the nineteenth lesson of the comprehensive elementary Chinese course Developing Chinese(second edition),and uses the interactive teaching method to design online teaching,hoping to improve learners’ ability to interact with Chinese in their daily lives,with a view to establishing a benchmark for teachers delivering lessons in Chinese online.There are four chapters in the text:The first chapter is the introduction,which presents the rationale and scope of the thematic choice,and which examines the contemporary state of inquiry in four domains: integrated primary Chinese language classes,online teaching,interactive pedagogy and instructional design,and finally introduces the research methodology of this paper.The second section is the foundation of didactical theories.The rationale and underlying philosophy and crossover type of the theory of interaction are reviewed in the aim of forming a foundation for the didactics of Chinese as a foreign tongue.The third section is for the online teaching programme of the Integrated elementary Chinese course Pen Friends.Firstly,the front-end of the teaching design is analysed,covering factors such as the online teaching environment,teaching targets,teaching materials and lesson types;then the components of training,including course targets,unit content and priority setting,lesson time allocation,teaching devices,and preparation of teaching aids are analysed;finally,the teaching process is introduced.The fourth section is to assess and critique the session.Reasonable suggestions are made based on the problems that have arisen during the teaching process,which will in turn improve the quality of learning and teaching. |
