The Chinese comprehensive course focus on the learners’ language mastery level of linguistic elements,as well as lays emphasis on cultivating learners’ listening,speaking,reading and writing skills.It is one of the most important course forms in the filed of International Chinese Language Education.However,in the teaching practice of comprehensive course,there are still some problems,such as traditional teaching idea,single teaching mode and fatigued and dull class atmosphere.The author believes that task-based teaching method can guide the teaching design of comprehensive courses with advanced ideas of allocating learners’ attention reasonably,focusing on language results and comprehensive language application ability,which helps students to better internalize the learning content and improves their comprehensive application ability of Chinese.This paper is based on task-based teaching method to guide the teaching practice of primary Chinese comprehensive course.Taking overseas students of International Han College in Henan university at the elementary level of Chinese as an example,it carries out online teaching design for lesson 16 "I Want to Give Him a Gift" in the textbook "Developing Chinese--Elementary Comprehensive(Ⅰ)".The author tries to discuss the specific implementation progress of primary Chinese comprehensive course under the guidance of task-based teaching method,hoping to providing a reference for the class teaching of TCSL teachers and improving the teaching efficiency and teaching quality.This paper is consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.The author summarizes the research background and significance of this paper,the research status of task-based teaching method,teaching design of primary Chinese comprehensive courses and online teaching of Chinese as a second language.The second chapter is an overview of the task-based teaching method,which sets out its concept,theoretical basis and advantages,as well as the feasibility in teaching class.The third chapter is the online teaching design of primary comprehensive course "I Want to Give Him a Gift",which develop the specific online teaching scheme according to analyzing the basic elements of teaching design.The fourth chapter is the teaching evaluation and reflection.It uses the scientific evaluation method to evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of class teaching and reflecting the problems in teaching process.Through the analysis of the theory and characteristics of task-based teaching method,the advantages of task-based teaching method in Chinese comprehensive course teaching are given full play,and the practical effect of elementary Chinese comprehensive course teaching is improved.
