The Madieer brand was founded in Harbin in 1906 by French Jew Joseph Capps.Relying on the hotel business,Madieer Modern Enterprise Group adheres to the brand development strategy of multicultural integration and develops a unique brand culture.In order to get out of the regional restrictions and open up the market,Madieer brand has developed into a famous century-old brand in China by designing its development strategy through its visual image and opening up a new path for the brand with its multicultural visual expression.Madieer brand plays an important role in the history of our country.As the planning place of the new CPPCC for many times,it has made important contributions to the establishment of new China.Under the background of the country’ s vigorous development of independent brands and century-old national brands,it is of great significance and practical value to study the visual image design of Madieer brand in depth.From the perspective of design,this paper focuses on the study of multi-culture and brand visual image design.First of all,it discusses the design and development of Madieer brand.This paper divides the development of Madieer brand into three periods-germination period,growth period and conscious development period,and discusses the general situation of brand development in each stage.Secondly,according to the characteristics of visual design in the period of conscious development,the paper discusses the factors that affect the visual image design of Mattel brand,such as multicultural factors,brand positioning and strategy and brand competition.Finally,this paper discusses the visual image design features of Madieer,including multicultural features,which are composed of Harbin local culture,China ancient Taiji culture,Quzhou Nankong culture,French culture and Soviet Russian culture.In modeling features,the design features of Art Nouveau and age of steam in Europe are used,and in color features,dark green and gold are the main color features to form the unique visual image design of Madiee brand.This paper takes the visual image design of Madieer brand as the research object,and makes a comprehensive study from the cultural background of Madieer brand to the design characteristics of the brand by means of literature research,comprehensive inductive analysis and case study.This paper makes up for the lack of theoretical research on the multi-cultural brand visual image design of Madieer,and has certain reference significance for the theoretical construction and design practice of China’s century-old brand research.
