The Classification And Research Of Oracle-bone Inscriptions Of Bin 宾 Diviner Group From Yinxu On Fangguo 方国 Warfare In Late Shang Period

There are more than 1,600 pieces of the Yinxu oracle-bone inscriptions on the war of the Fangguo方国,which is an important material for studying the war affairs in the late Shang Dynasty.The predecessors mainly conducted research from the two perspectives of the geography of Fangguo方国and war,and have achieved fruitful results.With the publication of hundreds of oracle-bones-conjugation and the further refinement of the calligraphical classification standard,the research on the warfare of Fangguo方国began to advance in a more refined direction.At the same time,it is difficult to distinguish among the names of people,places and Fangguo方国in the Yinxu oracle-bone inscriptions,resulting in a large number of Fangguo方国oracle-bone inscriptions,which is not conducive to accurately counting and studying the Fangguo方国war oracle-bone inscriptions.Therefore,this paper adopts the narrowly standard,collects the war documents,quantitatively analyzes these inscriptions involved,and arrangs them in details.This article consists of three parts:Prolegomenon includes a review of the study of oracle bone inscriptions about Fangguo方国and proposes new research methods on the basis of the old classification standards.On the basis of the collection of the oracle-bone inscriptions about the Fangguo方国warfare,this paper adopts the calligraphical classification standard of Sakikawa Takashi,takes each calligraphical type as a sample library,and presents the evolution trend of calligraphical types and the ratio of material,in various Fangguo方国through tables.Taking the peak of the each calligraphical type as a standard to divide these Fangguo方国into six categories.Edward L.Shaughnessy uses ganzhi and month to calculate dates,arrange the warfare older,so as to calculate the relative time of the warfare of Fangguo方国in the King Wuding period.
