| Students in middle school who have a higher degree of achievement motivation in their studies are more likely to face difficulties with ease,i.e.,have higher psychological resilience.Psychological resilience is one of the important indicators of middle school students’ mental health,which refers to the ability to resist stress and frustration in response to negative events,a psychological state that is particularly important for individuals.Psychological resilience,as one of the positive heart qualities,can effectively alleviate students’ academic burnout and help middle school students face problems in learning with a positive mindset.The objectives of this paper are: 1.to understand the achievement motivation,psychological resilience and academic burnout status of junior high school students through a survey;2.to investigate the relationship between achievement motivation,psychological resilience and academic burnout among junior high school students;3.to study the effect of psychological resilience after psychological intervention on the production of academic burnout and the results.The Achievement Motivation Scale was adopted from the Chinese version translated by our researcher Renmin Ye and Hegtvet(1988),the Psychological Resilience was adopted from the Psychological Resilience Scale for Adolescents developed by Yueqin Hu and Yiqun Gan(2008),and the Academic Burnout Scale was adopted from the Academic Burnout Questionnaire for Middle School Students developed by Sassy Hu and Chunlin Dai.This study attempted to explore the relationship between achievement motivation,psychological resilience and academic burnout and the intervention study of psychological resilience.The findings of the study were.First,middle school students’ achievement motivation,psychological resilience,and academic burnout were generally in good condition and at a moderate level.Second,in terms of correlation: junior high school students’ achievement motivation,psychological resilience and academic burnout were significantly negatively correlated,and junior high school students’ achievement motivation and psychological resilience were significantly positively correlated.Third,the group counseling program can effectively improve the level of psychological resilience of junior high school students and reduce the level of academic burnout to a certain extent. |
