| In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s e-sports industry,network dramas with e-sports as the theme have begun to emerge on major video platforms,and there are many phenomenal works with high ratings and high reputation.This article believes that the popularity of e-sports network dramas reflects the entertainment interests and values of contemporary youth groups to a certain extent.The values of the youth subculture.Therefore,this article mainly analyzes and interprets the style characteristics and value orientation of youth subculture in e-sports network dramas from the theoretical perspective of youth subculture,combined with specific work cases.In the introduction part,this paper sorts out the research context of youth subculture and e-sports network drama at home and abroad,introduces the research status of youth subculture and e-sports network drama,and summarizes the relationship between youth subculture and e-sports network drama.The first chapter defines the concept of e-sports network drama,and divides and introduces the development of e-sports network drama.The second chapter analyzes the e-sports network drama’s reference to the youth subculture’s way of constructing its own style,which has also become an artistic technique for storytelling and character creation in such dramas,forming a narrative style that is different from other types of network dramas.The third chapter analyzes the relationship between the audio-visual presentation of e-sports network dramas and the style of youth subculture,and presents the specific representations of game culture and e-sports culture through lens language,clothing modeling,character lines and music sound effects.The fourth chapter discusses the process of ideology and commercial capital’s incorporation of youth subculture.On the one hand,the values in e-sports network dramas change with the change of narrative subjects,and youth subculture is dispelled,integrated,and absorbed into mainstream culture in order to better adapt to the values of mainstream society;on the other hand,the style and value of e-sports culture are used and transformed by commercial capital,and the discourse symbols used by e-sports youths to express themselves and vent their emotions have become a popular element.The style of consumption has been transformed into a style of consumption,and this collection is mainly presented in the form of commodities in the play.The fifth chapter discusses some problems existing in the current e-sports network dramas,and puts forward corresponding development suggestions.The study found that the construction and presentation of e-sports network dramas at the narrative and audio-visual levels embodies the style characteristics of youth subcultures(mainly e-sports culture and game culture),condenses group consciousness,constructs identity,and expresses some social marginalization.The personality and pursuit of young people.However,the resistance and confrontational ideology shown by the youth subculture in e-sports network dramas has to accept the guidance of the mainstream ideology,keep moving closer to the mainstream culture,and reconstruct its own value under the mainstream discourse structure.Under the influence of commercial capital,the subculture’s own symbols and styles are transformed into commodities for public consumption and entertainment.Finally,at present,there are still some problems in China’s e-sports network dramas,such as the stereotype of the creators,the idolization of the cast,and the homogeneity of the story content.To stand out and enhance one’s own market competitiveness,in terms of content presentation,one needs to keep innovating,maintain the uniqueness of one’s own style,keep writing stories about young people in the new era,and spread positive energy;in terms of cultural expression,pay attention to the emerging phenomenon of youth subculture,constantly excavating the connotation of culture,and promoting the exchange and integration of youth subculture and other cultures. |
