A Study On The Uighur Language Translation Of Words With Chinese Characteristics In The "Report Of The 19th National Congress Of The Communist Party Of China"

Since the reform and opening up,"Chinese characteristics" has become the focus of the world,and "characteristic words" have also become an important part of political literature.At present,characteristic words have become a kind of professional terms,which not only reflect the traditional Culture of China,but also show the progress and development of modern society.These words have strong characteristics of The Times and regions.At the same time,the translation of characteristic words is also an important part of the communication between China and the world in the political,economic and cultural fields.As an important political document in China,the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)is thoughtful and rich in connotation.General Secretary Xi Jinping in the report using a lot of words with Chinese characteristics,these characteristics of vocabulary of things or phenomena covers China’s political,economic,cultural,military,science and technology,medical treatment,all aspects of social life,is to know the national policy,one of the effective ways to interpret the spirit of the meeting,the significant practical significance is self-evident.In this paper,guided by previous scholars’ experience in translation research on Chinese characteristic vocabulary,combined with the "Report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China" and its Uyghur translation,this paper first defines the concept of characteristic vocabulary in the report,and then classifies its types.Then,through a large number of translation examples,it summarizes and analyzes the principles,strategies,methods and techniques used in the Uyghur translation of Chinese characteristic words.This essay contains four parts: the preface,the main body,the conclusion and the corpus of Chinese characteristic vocabulary in the "Report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China".The preface part declares the purpose and significance of this research,understands the relevant research status,and introduces the research methods and innovations of this paper.The main body consists of five chapters.The first chapter clarifies the definition and characteristics of words with Chinese characteristics,and classifies words with Chinese characteristics on the basis of the corpus of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China.According to the fields involved in the vocabulary,it is divided into political,economic,cultural,military,and people’s livelihood vocabulary.The second chapter discusses the t principles and strategies that translators follow in the translation process with examples;the third chapter summarizes the translation methods and skills of Chinese characteristic vocabulary by citing translation examples;The fourth chapter reviews the advantages of translation of Chinese characteristic vocabulary in the Report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China;Chapter 5 is the enlightenment to the translation research of Chinese characteristic words.The conclusion part is a summary of the research content.
