Cultural items,also known as cultural factors,reflect relevant knowledge about the culture of the target language country.At present,Chinese as a foreign language education circle mostly studies the Chinese textbooks of Meiji period in Japan in terms of vocabulary,grammar and so on,and relatively little studies on the arrangement of cultural items.Official Chinese Summary is a practical Chinese textbook written in 1897 by Miyajima Daihachi,a Japanese Chinese educator.It is specially written for Japanese Chinese beginners and has strong colloquial characteristics.This textbook records in detail the pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar of Beijing Mandarin in the 19 th century,vividly depicts the social reality of China in the late Qing Dynasty,and selects many cultural items with rich cultural value as the corpus,and makes reasonable arrangement of various cultural items,so that learners can understand the traditional Chinese culture in the process of learning Chinese.This paper takes the cultural items in textbooks as the research object,sorts out the characteristics of the arrangement of cultural items in textbooks,tries to explore the research value of the cultural items in the arrangement of cultural items in textbooks,and draws on the advanced experience in the arrangement of cultural items in textbooks,so as to provide references and suggestions for the compilation of cultural items in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future.This paper takes the cultural items in textbooks as the research object,sorts out the characteristics of the arrangement of cultural items in textbooks,tries to explore the research value of the cultural items in the arrangement of cultural items in textbooks,and draws on the advanced experience in the arrangement of cultural items in textbooks,so as to provide references and suggestions for the compilation of cultural items in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future.This paper is divided into four parts:First of all,this paper expounds the background and significance of the research,states the research status,and briefly combs the research results of Chinese textbooks in the Meiji period,and points out the deficiencies of current research.Secondly,the text part of this paper gives a brief overview of the compiling background and teaching style of the textbook.Then,starting from the specific content of the textbook,the cultural items in the textbook are divided into nine categories: material life,social language,folk customs,values,business and trade,foreign affairs,internal affairs and laws,and Confucianism education.The typical cultural items in the textbook are selected for research,and the specific content of the cultural items is combined to reveal the social and cultural phenomena behind the cultural items.Thirdly,through the sorting and analysis of the cultural items in the textbook in the last chapter,the characteristics of the compilation of the cultural items in the textbook are summarized and explained in combination with specific texts.Finally,based on the previous research results,this paper summarizes the referential experience of the "Mandarin Digest" in the compilation of cultural items,and then puts forward some inspirations for the compilation of cultural items of Chinese teaching materials in the future. |
