Research On The Integration Of Confucius’s Gentleman’s Personality Thought Into The Cultivation Of College Students’ Moral Personality

Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the party and the country have attached great importance to the cultivation of young talents,emphasizing that the excellent traditional Chinese culture has an important reference value for the personal growth of college students.The Confucian gentleman’s personality thought is an integral part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,with profound theoretical essence and value implication.Theoretical elaboration and integrating it into the cultivation of moral personality of college students is not only the inherent requirement of implementing the fundamental task of "cultivating morality and cultivating people" in colleges and universities,but also the proper meaning of implementing the "Outline for the Construction of Citizens’ Morality in the New Era",and it is also the promotion of Chinese excellence.The realistic requirements for creative transformation of traditional culture and innovative development.The Confucian gentleman’s personality thought is based on the core connotation of joy,respect for morality,observance of propriety,and implementation of centrality,with knowledge,benevolence,and courage as the value pursuit,and the path of cultivation is to be erudite and thoughtful,abide by benevolence and filial piety,be determined to take responsibility,and be committed to practice.,which is inherently compatible with the cultivation of college students’ moral personality in terms of goals,contents and methods.On the basis of comprehensively grasping the current situation of college students’ moral personality development,the paper analyzes the current predicament of college students’ moral personality cultivation.At the same time,combined with the new requirements of the development of the times,the basic principles and specific requirements for the integration of Confucius’ s gentleman’s personality thinking are put forward.The "benevolence and wisdom" thoughts are integrated into the depth of college education,the breadth of the integration of the "propriety and righteousness" thoughts into social dissemination,and the integration of the "learning and thinking" thoughts into individual cultivation,so as to broaden the path selection of college students’ moral personality cultivation.The thesis adheres to the problem-oriented orientation,always follows the context of knowledge,emotion,intention,and behavior.On the basis of fully excavating the reasonable core of Confucius’ s gentleman’s personality thought,combined with the inner growth law of college students,the multi-dimensional and multi-level moral personality of college students is developed.Cultivate and build a joint force of education to make it a socialist builder and successor for the all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor.
