| At present,the overseas "Chinese fever" is pushing the Chinese culture to the world,which is of great significance to eliminate the Western society’s cultural misunderstanding of China and promote world peace.At the same time,this upsurge also promotes the deepening of the research of Chinese culture and cross-cultural communication among scholars at home and abroad.Therefore,it is of great significance to establish a correct cultural view and improve the awareness of crosscultural communication for the development of international Chinese teaching."Polyphony" is a musical term referring to a type of music consisting of independent and interrelated parts.Bakhtin introduced the concept of "polygraphy" into the field of literature,as opposed to "monologue",which means that each character in the work is an independent subject with the same value and status.Polyphony theory has something in common with the cultural tolerance and equality pursued in today’s cross-cultural communication.Under the background of globalization,it is necessary to maintain an open and inclusive mentality,recognize the same value of each national culture,and form an independent and interrelated "polyphony" relationship among world cultures.On this basis,this paper takes the characteristics of polyphony in cross-cultural communication and its application in international Chinese culture teaching as its main research content,aiming to combine polyphony theory with intercultural communication,study its practical value,and apply it to international Chinese culture teaching,and put forward suggestions for the development of international Chinese teaching.This paper mainly includes the following five parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason for topic selection,research significance,research status at home and abroad,introduction of relevant theories,as well as research objects and methods.The second part is the polytonicity study of intercultural communication in "Informal Talks".Combined with the basic characteristics of polyphony theory,this paper analyzes in detail the polyphony of intercultural communication in the cultural variety show "Informal Talks".The third part investigates the cross-cultural communication and Chinese classroom learning of international students in the form of a questionnaire,and summarizes the application value of polyphony and its related theories in international Chinese culture teaching by combining some problems in cross-cultural communication of international students.In the fourth part,according to the basic attitude of international Chinese culture teaching,the program of "Informal Talks" with polytonality is applied to the teaching design of international Chinese culture course,so as to provide certain reference for international Chinese culture teaching.Finally,the paper summarizes the research results and points out the problems and shortcomings of this research. |
