| In study 1,480 college students from a university in Yunnan Province were investigated, and the Core Self-Assessment Scale and the Sense of Life Scale were distributed to them. The current situation of the level of core self-evaluation and sense of life of college students was investigated through descriptive statistics.Through SPSS26,the relationship between college students’ core self-evaluation level and their sense of life significance was discussed and explored. On the basis of the results of the first study, the second study, based on the evaluation results of the subjects and on the principle of voluntariness, finally selected six college students as members of the experimental group and the control group to carry out the experiment. The subjects of the experimental group were subject to the theme sandplay therapy intervention for eight weeks, which was once a week. After the intervention, the members of the experimental group and the control group were evaluated again with the Core Self-Assessment Scale and the Sense of Life Scale, and the results were compared.Through quantitative research on sandplay intervention, the conclusions are as follows:(1)The average score of college students’ core self-evaluation(33.53 ± 6.18points)is lower than that of the national norm;there are significant differences in the core self-evaluation scores of college students of different sexes(t=2.288,p<0.05);The core self-evaluation level of college students in different grades is significantly different; There is no significant difference in the core self-evaluation level of college students from different families.(2)The score of college students’ sense of life is 44.5 ± 8.59,which belongs to the middle level; The score of male college students’ sense of life significance is higher than that of female college students. There is a significant difference between the two. There is no significant difference in the level of college students’ sense of life significance in different grades and different families.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between college students’ sense of life and their core self-evaluation scores(r=0.443,p<0.01).(4)The core self-evaluation of college students can significantly and positively predict their sense of life significance(p=0.000<0.05).(5)After sandbox treatment, individual intervention, college students’ scores of core self-evaluation level and sense of life significance were significantly different before and after the test, and college students’ scores of core self-evaluation level and sense of life significance after the test were higher than their pre-test scores. However, there was no significant difference in the scores of core self-evaluation and sense of life significance of the control group(p>0.05).It shows that case intervention with sandplay therapy can significantly improve the subjects’ core self-evaluation level, thus further improving their sense of life significance. |
