At present,the growth environment of primary school students has changed dramatically,and students in primary school are in a period of rapid and unstable personality development.Due to the influence of various factors such as the complex and changeable social environment,huge academic pressure,and unstable physical and mental development level,the personality problems of primary school students have become increasingly prominent.With the continuous deepening of the state’s policy on aesthetic education,dance aesthetic education has become an important part of school aesthetic education,and it has a special role and significance that is difficult to replace by other disciplines in cultivating the emotions,skills and personality of primary school students.Therefore,how to give full play to the special function of dance aesthetic education in the process of shaping the healthy personality of primary school students has become a question worth considering.This paper aims to analyze the specific implementation of dance aesthetic education in primary schools and the current situation of students’ personality development,and to propose more feasible teaching strategies for dance aesthetic education.Taking grade 1 to 6 students,teachers and parents from five schools in P City as the research objects,this paper mainly completed the collection of relevant questionnaires and interview content,the correlation analysis of dance aesthetic education on students’ personality development,and discussed students’ performance in the implementation of dance aesthetic education,parents’ educational concepts and attitudes,the current situation of personality development of primary school students in P City,and the influence of dance aesthetic education on the personality characteristics of primary school students in P City.It is found that there are mainly the following problems in shaping students’ healthy personality by dance aesthetic education in primary schools in P City: lack of cognition of healthy personality shaping,marginalization of family education awareness,insufficient professional quality of teachers,low quality of teachers themselves,emphasis on appearance and inner appearance,outdated teaching methods and lack of innovation,and monotonous and rigid teaching evaluation methods.Based on the above research results,combined with students’ personality characteristics,parents’ education concepts,teachers’ understanding of relevant teaching content,and the correlation analysis between dance aesthetic education and healthy personality shaping,targeted implementation countermeasures are proposed from six aspects.
