Chinese character teaching is not only an important part of international Chinese education,but also one of the difficulties in teaching.Chinese characters are different from other phonetic characters.Chinese characters can not only express pronunciation,but also express meaning,which makes the cognitive process of Chinese characters extremely complex.Coupled with the complexity of Chinese characters,Chinese characters undoubtedly bring learning difficulties to many learners.Including Myanmar Kachin students,learners have a variety of Chinese character errors when writing Chinese characters.Through literature review,in the study of Chinese character teaching in Southeast Asia,the country is mainly Thailand.There are few studies on the teaching of Chinese characters for Myanmar students,and there are few studies on the teaching of Chinese characters for Myanmar Kachin students.However,in fact,there are still many errors in the writing of Chinese characters in the process of Chinese learning.Based on this,the author analyzes the causes of learners ’ Chinese character writing errors by collecting Chinese character writing materials of Myanmar Kachin students in Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education.The subjects of the survey are Kachin students in the Chinese basic preparatory class and the first grade of the Chinese college in the Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education.The Chinese level of the preparatory class is primary,and the Chinese level of the first grade is intermediate.The corpus is divided into static corpus and dynamic corpus.The first is the static corpus,which refers to the collected students ’ usual writing materials;the second is the dynamic corpus,which refers to the video corpus of four Kachin students selected from the Chinese basic preparatory class and the first grade of Chinese college to write and record Chinese characters.Finally,from the static and dynamic aspects of the learner ’s Chinese character writing error analysis,in order to more accurately understand the causes of Myanmar Kachin students ’ Chinese character writing errors,so as to put forward targeted teaching strategies.This research content is mainly divided into six parts :The first part is the introduction.The author mainly introduces the reasons for choosing the topic,the significance of the topic,the literature review,the theoretical basis of the research,the research ideas and innovations.The second part mainly introduces the situation of the survey school and the source of corpus.First of all,it mainly expounds the information of Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education and the teaching of Chinese and Chinese characters.Secondly,introduce the source of corpus.The first is the static corpus,which refers to the students ’ Chinese character writing corpus collected by the author.The corpus is mainly the usual homework writing materials of Kachin students in Mai Ja Yang Institute of Education;the second is the dynamic corpus,which refers to the author randomly selects 50 commonly used Chinese characters from the students ’commonly used teaching materials,and uses the mobile phone to record the video to observe the whole process of the writing of these Chinese characters by the Kachin students in Myanmar.In order to better understand the causes of Chinese character writing errors of Myanmar Kachin students,and then put forward targeted teaching suggestions for learners to learn Chinese characters.The third part is a static analysis of Chinese character writing errors of Myanmar Kachin students.The types of errors are mainly divided into three categories,namely stroke errors,component errors and whole word errors.The author also classifies the three types of errors in detail,and subdivides the stroke errors into five categories :stroke increase,stroke reduction,stroke dislocation,stroke substitution,and stroke deformation.The component errors are subdivided into four categories : component increase,component reduction,component dislocation and component misrepresentation;the whole character errors are divided into two categories : wrong character and wrong character.The wrong character is subdivided into sound near wrong character,shape near wrong character,sound and shape near wrong character,sound and meaning near wrong character and other unrelated wrong characters.The errors of students are analyzed,counted,classified and summarized.The study found that among the Chinese character writing errors of Myanmar Kachin students,stroke errors ranked first,followed by whole character errors,and finally component errors.The fourth part is to analyze the dynamic case errors of Chinese character writing of Myanmar Kachin students.Symbolically,two students were selected as testers from the basic Chinese preparatory class and the first grade of Chinese junior college,a total of four testers.Through the whole video,Chinese characters were written without interference,and the full dynamic process of writing Chinese characters was recorded.In the study of dynamic writing errors,the author finds that learners ’ stroke errors are the most prominent,followed by stroke order errors,then whole word errors,and finally component errors.The fifth part explores the causes of Chinese character writing errors of Kachin students in Myanmar,and discusses the causes of errors from both objective and subjective aspects.The sixth part is to propose corresponding teaching strategies for the causes of Chinese character errors of Myanmar Kachin students,mainly from the three levels of students,teachers and courses,and put forward targeted learning suggestions for students.
