Wu-fang Yuan Yin is a rhyming dictionary written by Fan Tengfeng in the early Qing Dynasty.It reflects the true appearance of Chinese phonetics in northern China in the Qing Dynasty and is an important document for the study of modern Chinese phonetics.Fan Tengfeng originally due to the legend is not widely spread,the influence is not big.So,making it popular is its addition and reformulation book.In previous studies,they focused on the phonetic study of Fan Tengfeng.In recent years,although the academic circle has gradually paid attention to the other versions,the research results are still limited.Especially on the revised version by Zhao Peizi,there is no comprehensive thematic research at present.So it is necessary to include it in the research field of Wu-fang Yuan Yin.This paper with Zhao Peizi supplemented cons five parties default vowel" as the research object,through comparing with Wu-fang Yuan Yin,Zhao Peizi on its rhyme,rhyme figure and striking a revised work,analysis of the five parties vowel Zhao Peizi revises the reason,so as to re-examine Zhao Peizi this value in the five parties vowel is striking,And its influence on the compilation of traditional rhyme.This paper is divided into seven parts:Introduction,mainly including the topic reasons,research status and research methods.According to the current research background and literature situation,the value of the topic is proposed,and the research object and goal are defined.The research history of Wu-fang Yuan Yin is divided into three stages.Finally,the research methods are described according to the research objectives of the paper.The first chapter is an overview of Supplementing the Wu-fang Yuan Yin,which briefly introduces the life of the author Zhao Peizi.According to the preface of the rhyme,it is found that the intention of compiling the rhyme is due to the attitude towards the Five-sided Vowel and the respect for the equivalent rhyme.From the point of view of the whole book,this paper gives an overview of Zhao ’s editing style.The second chapter is the analysis of rhyme method.By comparing Fan’s ordinary examples,we can see that Zhao Peizi retained and deleted Fan’s ordinary examples in this part,and added a large number of rhyme methods under his intention of promoting equal rhyme.The third chapter is the analysis of rhyming diagrams.By comparing Wu-fang Yuan Yin,the study of rhyming diagrams can be divided into two parts: the form and the content.In the study of shape and system,there are both horizontal and vertical aspects of the rhyme diagram.The horizontal column changes the initials into equal-rhyme letters and adds the five-tone element.The vertical column is more clear,and the Sihu are further specified in an orderly manner.In terms of content,Zhao takes into account the medieval rhyme and rhyme situation when grading the rhyme words,so that the rhyme diagram has retro style.On the basis of Fan’s base,new vacant characters were added and part of the characters were replaced to make the rhyme diagram more perfect and reasonable.The fourth chapter is the rhyming dictionary,still from the form and content.In terms of shape and system,Zhao Peizi modified the initial and tone of the rhyme,and also divided the rhyme by referring to Pewen Verse.The content is mainly reflected in the new rhyme word and expanded interpretation.Among them,the newly added rhymes mainly come from "Pewen Poetry Rhymes" and "Kangxi Dictionary",and the expanded definitions mainly come from "Kangxi Dictionary".In addition,in the revision of the rhyme character and interpretation are reflected in Zhao’s attention to polyphonics.The fifth chapter summarizes the above contents,analyzes the value of Zhao Peizi’s script in the rhyming dictionary,which can be divided into two aspects of striking book’s own value and social value,and excavates the situation of the traditional striking book influenced by it.Finally,the conclusion of the research objective is described,and points out the shortcomings of the paper,and looks forward to the problems to be solved in the next research.
