The Impact Of Junior High School Students' Leisure Satisfaction On Interpersonal Adjustment: A Moderated Chain Mediation Mode | | Posted on:2024-04-20 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2555307148955879 | Subject:Mental health education | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Background: Because junior high school is the peak of adolescent interpersonal communication,peer-centred adolescent interpersonal adaptation is the core content of social adaptation in this period.Scholars generally believe that teenagers satisfaction with their actual participation in leisure activities will directly affect their behaviour results.Therefore,leisure satisfaction is one-factor affecting teenagers’ mental health,and it is significant to study the relationship between leisure satisfaction and interpersonal adaptation of junior high school students.In addition,self-efficacy and self-esteem,as the core components of self-evaluation,are essential factors affecting interpersonal adaptation.Therefore,the study also added the investigation of self-efficacy and self-esteem.In addition,as an individual’s positive psychological trait,mindfulness may have individual differences in the impact of leisure satisfaction on interpersonal adaptation through self-efficacy and self-esteem.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the regulatory role of mindfulness further.Objective: This paper investigates the influence mechanism of junior high school students leisure satisfaction on interpersonal adaptation.It constructs a regulated chain intermediary model to investigate whether mindfulness plays a regulatory role in the chain intermediary model of leisure satisfaction,self-efficacy,self-esteem and interpersonal adaptation.Methods: This research adopted the leisure satisfaction scale,general self-efficacy scale,self-esteem scale and interpersonal adjustment scale.The participants included 1007 junior high school students.SPSS 25.0 was used for analysis.Results:Firstly,there were significant differences in self-efficacy and self-esteem among junior high school students of different sexes.There were significant differences in self-efficacy,interpersonal adaptation and mindfulness among junior high school students of different grades.There were significant differences in leisure satisfaction,self-efficacy,self-esteem,interpersonal adaptation and mindfulness among junior high school students with different family economic conditions.Secondly,leisure satisfaction,self-efficacy,self-esteem and interpersonal adaptation were significantly positively correlated.Self-efficacy,self-esteem and interpersonal adaptation were significantly positively correlated.There was a significant positive correlation between self-esteem and interpersonal adaptation.Thirdly,leisure satisfaction indirectly affected interpersonal adaptation through the intermediary role of self-efficacy.Leisure satisfaction indirectly affected interpersonal adaptation through the mediation of self-esteem.Leisure satisfaction indirectly affected interpersonal adaptation through the chain mediation of self-efficacy and self-esteem.Finally,mindfulness plays a moderating role in the chain intermediary model among leisure satisfaction,self-efficacy,self-esteem and interpersonal adaptation,which is embodied in the fact that mindfulness moderates the intermediary chain role between self-efficacy and self-esteem by enhancing the positive influence of leisure satisfaction on self-efficacy.Conclusion: As the actual quality evaluation of teenagers’ participation in leisure activities,leisure satisfaction can indirectly affect junior high school students’ interpersonal adaptation by improving their sense of self-efficacy and self-esteem.In addition,mindfulness regulates the influence of leisure satisfaction on self-efficacy,which plays a significant role in chain mediation. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Leisure satisfaction, Self-efficacy, Self-esteem, Interpersonal adaptation, Mindfulness | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
