Teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language are an important reference and basis for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the arrangement of grammatical points in teaching materials plays a crucial role in teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.The existing HSK test materials cannot meet the requirements of the International Chinese Language Education Chinese Proficiency Standards,and the adjustment and change of HSK5-6 teaching materials are the most urgent.In this paper,advanced HSK Standard Course is taken as the research object,based on the comparison of the old and new Grammar Grade Syllabus,and through the analysis of the selection and organization of textbook grammar items,the characteristics and problems in the selection and organization of textbook grammar are summarized.Finally,combining the results of textbook investigation and teaching practice experience,some thoughts and prospects are put forward for selection of grammar items in textbooks,adjustment of textbooks and grammar teaching.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the research background and significance of this paper,the current status of domestic and international research,the research object and method.The second part makes a comparison and analysis of the new and old Grammar Grade Syllabus,and explores the reasons for their changes from the aspects of quantity,grade,classification,content and form.The third part examines the selection of grammar items for the textbooks,which researches the number,category and grade distribution of grammar items in the four textbooks,and analyzes the matching degree between the investigation results and the new and old Grammar Grade Syllabus respectively.It not only confirms the authenticity of the comparison results of the Syllabus from the side,but also finds that the proportion of the number,category and grade of the textbooks does not fully meet the requirements of the two Syllabuses.The fourth part investigates the organization of grammar items in the textbook,from the manner of grammar presentation,it was found that the grammatical presentation of the materials changed the teaching pattern adopted by the teacher from grammatical presentation.From the study of grammar interpretation,it is found that the grammar interpretation of textbooks is theoretical,simple,and contains insufficient information From the statistics of the sample sentences,we can see that the sample sentences are in accordance with the principles of compiling the textbook and the characteristics of the typical sample sentences.The fifth part is based on the comparison of syllabus and the statistical analysis of textbooks,combined with the author’s professional practice experience,from the textbook grammar selection,textbook organization and grammar teaching three aspects of the paper to make a summary thinking and prospects.According to the analysis,the selection and organization of grammar items in advanced HSK Standard Course has its outstanding and unique features.However,through the comparative analysis of textbooks and syllabus as well as the selection and organization of textbooks,it finds that the grammar selection and organization of textbooks can be further modified and perfected.The author also puts forward her own thinking and prospects on it.It is hoped that the future adjustment and new compilation of textbooks will be more perfect on the basis of the original textbooks and fit the syllabus.
