Contemporary Design And Research Of Lacquer Art In The Context Of "Oriental Charm"

Strengthening cultural self-confidence is a major issue related to the construction of a socialist cultural power and the spiritual independence of the Chinese nation.Since entering the new era,Chinese traditional culture has received unprecedented attention.The young generation is no longer satisfied with the global popular culture that tends to be consistent.They begin to consciously seek the roots of traditional culture and think about how to deliver a brilliant Chinese plan under the era proposition of the flourishing Chinese history.As an important intangible cultural heritage,the traditional lacquer art embodies the oriental wisdom summarized by the pioneers who dare to practice in the production and life.Its profound cultural connotation and rich artistic language form highlight the oriental charm.Lacquerware as household furnishings has been widely used,but now it has gradually faded out of the public’s view due to the constraints of production costs,style characteristics and human resources.Therefore,how to integrate lacquerware as household furnishings into the modern home environment and how to better adapt the traditional technology to the needs of modern development are urgent problems to be solved.This article is based on the development and inheritance of traditional culture.The first part,through data collection and literature review,has a deep understanding of the development of lacquerware as home furnishings at home and abroad,providing sufficient theoretical research support for subsequent research;The second part interprets the context of "oriental charm",deeply studies Taoist philosophy,analyzes the relationship between traditional craft aesthetics and Taoist philosophy,and injects cultural connotation support into the research;The third part carefully examines and summarizes the oriental attribute of traditional craft-lacquer art,and analyzes the characteristics of lacquer style since the past dynasties to provide style reference for this design practice;The fourth part summarizes the application status of lacquerware in home furnishings through questionnaire survey,combs the problems faced by lacquerware as home furnishings products and provides solutions;The fifth part integrates traditional lacquer art and modern household furnishings products to design and practice in the context of "Oriental charm",and carries out specific design schemes from the aspects of product shape,color and decoration techniques,so as to realize the innovation of lacquerware as household furnishings products.This article aims to integrate lacquer art into modern life,rekindle its cultural charm,inject the soul into modern household furnishings,provide new ideas for the dissemination of excellent traditional culture in modern society,and realize "cultural self-confidence and selfimprovement".
