| Latin America has been characterized as a region marked by instability and tendencies to retain certain political leadership types,triggering continuous changes of government in the region.That is why the Latin American political system is represented as a pendulum that traditionally swung between the defenders of the status quo,represented by the right’s neoliberals,and the progressive reformers of the left.The ideological factor has predominated in public policies and decision-making in Latin America under the umbrella of the two great ideological orientations,“left” and “right”.At the beginning of the 21st century,the political left established itself as the region’s greatest ideological force.After about a decade in power in most Latin American countries,it began to decline;This is why it is necessary to analyze the elementary factors that trigger political changes in the Latin American region.On the other hand,China has been an important ally for the Latin American region at the beginning of the 21st century during the rise of the political left,benefiting Latin American governments in the economic,political,and social spheres;As result,it is expected to understand what the implications for China are of the political changes in the Latin American region. |
