An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Urban Public Security On The Public Security Participation Of Floating Population

Since China’s reform and opening up,the domestic social and economic development has entered a period of overall accelerated transformation,which has further exacerbated the structural changes of all levels of society.Because of the gradual liberalization of the population control policy and registered residence system,large numbers of floating population have moved from rural areas and less developed areas to towns and developed areas.Although these migrants are not registered residence residents in the area,they have long been working and living in the inflow area,contributing to the development and construction of the inflow area,playing a decisive role in the inflow economic society.The current domestic social security situation is becoming more and more complex.How to make full use of and give full play to the role of the floating population’s public security participation,and explore the obstacles affecting the floating population’s public security participation attitude and behavior are of great significance for strengthening the daily management of the floating population,improving the participation of this group in the field of public security in the inflow area,and promoting the overall level and system construction of community governance.Taking the data analysis of District B of city a as the starting point,this study uses the research methods of quantitative.After reading and combing a large number of relevant literature,this study investigates the current situation of the floating population’s attitude and behavior of public security participation in this area by designing a questionnaire,adopts the strategy of increasing intermediary variables and multiple stepwise regression,and establishes a linear regression model to process the actual survey data in this area,So as to analyze and summarize the characteristics,models and problems of floating population’s public security participation in this area.After in-depth analysis and discussion,combined with the current actual situation,this paper believes that the harmonious relationship between the police and the people,a good sense of community security and a high alarm rate have a positive impact on the floating population’s public security participation through the intermediary variable participation power.Finally,it puts forward the effective ways to improve the floating population’s public security participation through the research results:building a harmonious relationship between the police and the people;Create a good sense of community security;Make every effort to improve the rate of seeing the police on the street;Improve the motivation of floating population to participate in public security.
