Study On The Influencing Factors Of Household Registration Migration Intention Of Floating Population In The Yangtze River Delta

Since the State Council issued the "opinions on further promoting the reform of household registration system" in 2014,the conditions for settlement have been decreasing.The ensuing problem turns into the structural contradiction between the intention of household registration migration and the conditions of household registration migration.At present,China is in the steady deepening stage of new urbanization.The phenomena of "want to fall,can’t fall,can fall and don’t want to fall" coexist.As one of China’s economically developed regions,the scale of floating population is expanding year by year.This kind of phenomenon is very common.How to deal with this problem is very important.Based on the data of 2017 national floating population dynamic monitoring survey,this study studies the influencing factors of floating population’s household migration intention in the Yangtze River Delta.(1)By consulting and analyzing the relevant literature at home and abroad,get familiar with the research trends,and look for the possible factors affecting the floating population’s willingness to migrate;(2)Descriptive statistical analysis is used to describe the differences of household registration migration willingness of floating population groups with different characteristics;(3)The possible influencing factors were screened and analyzed by statistical test method;(4)Based on Logistic Regression and XGBoost algorithm,the Embedded embedding method is used to realize feature selection,build a machine learning model,find out the most significant features that affect the intention of household registration migration,and rank and interpret them according to their importance;(5)Using Ward method in systematic clustering,this paper classifies the level of household migration intention of floating population in the Yangtze River Delta,and analyzes the differences of influencing factors of household migration intention of different floating population groups from the perspectives of region and household type.The results show that:(1)both individual factors and inflow city factors of floating population will have a significant impact on their willingness to migrate;(2)In the Yangtze River Delta,the size of the population flowing into the city,the identity of the floating population to the local society and the type of household registration play a more significant role in deciding whether to migrate the household registration.The larger the size of the urban population,the higher the social identity and the non-agricultural household registration,the stronger the floating population’s willingness to migrate the household registration;(3)The floating population in Shanghai will pay more attention to their own housing situation when facing the decision-making of household registration migration.Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces have certain commonalities.There are obvious regional differences in the level of household registration migration intention in the province,and social identity is the factor that the floating population in the two provinces pay more attention to when migrating their household registration,while the household registration migration intention of the floating population in Anhui Province will be more vulnerable to the influence of their own household registration type and educational background;(4)Compared with the agricultural floating population,non-agricultural groups are more likely to flow into big cities,and they will pay more attention to whether there is medical insurance in their inflow place when facing the decision of household registration migration.According to the above research,it is proposed to establish an opinion feedback platform or formulate encouragement and assistance policies to improve the social identity of the floating population;The household registration migration policy of "three provinces and one city" in the Yangtze River Delta should be adapted to local conditions and have different emphasis directions;With registered residence population as the scale standard,the restriction of large city settlement should be relaxed.We will accelerate the implementation of social security for the floating population in the inflow areas.
