Research On Traffic Congestion Management Problems And Countermeasures In Jinan City

Transportation is like the vein of urban development.For modern cities,convenient transportation,like blood vessels in the human body,is a prerequisite for sustained and rapid development.Jinan,an important sub-provincial city in China and the capital of Shandong province,has suffered particularly severe traffic congestion in recent years,ranking among the most congested cities in the country.Traffic congestion not only hinders the healthy and sustainable development of cities,but also brings ecological and environmental damage,energy consumption,noise pollution,traffic accidents and other social and livelihood problems.To solve the problem of urban traffic congestion,ensure the normal operation of urban people flow and logistics,and ensure the smooth road,is an important part of urban comprehensive governance.Therefore,it is urgent to take appropriate measures to solve the problem of traffic congestion.In this paper,Jinan traffic congestion governance as the research theme,using the relevant theoretical tools of urban traffic governance,Jinan traffic governance system optimization research.First of all,the research status at home and abroad is summarized,and the relevant theoretical concepts of traffic governance are sorted out,so as to serve as the theoretical basis and theoretical support of this paper.Secondly,comprehensively understand the geographical environment and traffic situation of Jinan,insight into the current situation of traffic congestion management in Jinan,and carry out in-depth understanding and targeted analysis of its existing governance measures and governance effectiveness;Thirdly,through semi-structured interview and questionnaire survey,the existing problems and their causes are found out from the perspective of comprehensive management.Finally,combining the theory of collaborative governance,the theory of traffic supply and the advanced traffic control experience of domestic and foreign cities,in the context of the unique traffic control of Jinan city,this paper puts forward feasible countermeasures and suggestions suitable for the traffic congestion control of Jinan City.Through the study of this paper,it can be concluded that the problems of traffic congestion management in Jinan City include the lag of urban road construction and traffic planning,the inability of public transport to meet the needs of public travel,the low efficiency of collaborative governance,and the insufficient level of intelligent transportation.The reason lies in the lack of foresight and coordination of road traffic planning,lack of coordination of collaborative governance,low quality of public transport development,and insufficient investment in intelligent transportation.The countermeasures and suggestions are to strengthen traffic construction in combination with urban planning.Strengthen multi-party collaborative governance efforts,vigorously develop public transport and optimize public travel mode,and intensify the development of smart transportation.
