Research On My Country's Response To Illegal Immigration Issue

With the constant evolution of globalization,migration has begun to become a major factor affecting the political,economic and cultural situation in various countries of the world,the following illegal immigration has become an important direction of immigration management in various countries.As a country growing up to be a destination country of immigration,solving the problem of illegal immigration has become an important breakthrough for our country to adapt to the development of globalization and cultivate new advantages in international competition.Starting with the concept of "Immigration" and "Illegal immigration",this paper analyzes the reasons why illegal immigrants enter our country and the harm they do to our country,the inadequacy of our immigration legal system,the inadequacies of our enforcement system,multiple citizenship issues and the absence of a refugee system have severely constrained our efforts to address illegal immigration.Through analyzing and drawing lessons from the mature immigration law and the illegal immigration control experience of the traditional immigration countries,this paper puts forward some countermeasures for dealing with the illegal immigration problems according to the actual situation of our country.To solve the problem of illegal immigration is a long-term and systematic project.From the legislative point of view,we should integrate our existing immigration laws and regulations,and make the immigration code in line with China’s national conditions From the perspective of law enforcement,it is necessary to improve the construction of law enforcement departments,strengthen the law enforcement system for illegal immigrants,establish a unified information platform and improve the legal system of nationality from the multiple citizenship perspective;A refugee law is needed from the perspective of refugee governance,and cooperation with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees should be strengthened.
