Research On The United Front Work Of The Nanjing Bureau Of The Central Committee Of The Communist Party Of China

The Nanjing Bureau of the CPC Central Committee was the representative office of the CPC in Nanjing,the ruling center of the Kuomintang in the early days of the War of Liberation.The Chongqing Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,which moved from Chongqing to Nanjing in May 1946,was renamed the Nanjing Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.Its predecessor can be traced back to the South Bureau of the CPC Central Committee established in 1939.It is the command center of the CPC for carrying out relevant work in some provinces(cities)under the control of the Kuomintang and liberation work in Hong Kong and overseas.Given the extremely complex political environment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,where the Nanjing Bureau was located,in the early stages of the Liberation War,many of the work was carried out in secret.Therefore,the united front work in this period and region presented various unique characteristics,which had high research value.In May 1946,comrades from the Communist Party delegation and the Chongqing Bureau moved to Nanjing under the leadership of Zhou Enlai and Dong Biwu,officially announcing the establishment of the Nanjing Bureau.In March 1947,the representative office of the Communist Party of China announced the withdrawal of Yan’an,and the Nanjing Bureau was also dissolved.The work of the Nanjing Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was officially terminated.Although the Nanjing Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China only existed for a short period of ten months,its leadership carried out united front work for multiple groups such as the workers and peasants,democratic parties,Kuomintang army,urban petty bourgeoisie,and international peace forces,making outstanding contributions to the fight for peace and democracy and opening up a second front.The united front work experience accumulated by the Nanjing Bureau in a difficult environment has provided us with a new perspective and inspiration to strengthen united front work in the current new situation and conditions,and has provided us with valuable experience and inspiration.Therefore,in-depth exploration of the work of the Nanjing Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the united front not only enriches the research process of the Nanjing Bureau,but also provides valuable practical experience for the united front work of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The research framework used in this article is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,the reasons for selecting the topic of Nanjing Bureau were discussed in detail,and the theoretical and practical significance,concept definition,literature review,research ideas and methods,innovation points,and existing shortcomings of this article were elaborated.The second chapter analyzes the ideological origin and historical development of the united front work of the Nanjing Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,focusing on the evolution of the political ideology of the united front and the social situation it faces.It briefly explains its activity process after its establishment,elaborates on the practical environment in which the united front work of the Nanjing Bureau is located,and the organizational arrangements of the Nanjing Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee during its establishment and development process.In Chapter 3,the five groups involved in the united front work of the Nanjing Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China are discussed,namely the democratic parties,the workers and peasants,the Kuomintang army,the urban petty bourgeoisie,and overseas Chinese.These groups are all key groups in the united front work.After discussing the core group work targeted by the Nanjing Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s united front work,Chapter 4 summarizes the unique features of its united front work.Chapter 5 takes contemporary practical values as the starting point,draws inspiration from the successful experience of the Nanjing Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee in united front work,and provides useful insights for the united front work of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering the new era.
