Since the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Party’s national congresses have all been held at home, except for the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of China, which was held abroad due to the historical constraints of the time, and was guided by the Communist International throughout, which is of special historical significance. It is therefore of great theoretical significance and practical revelation to study the guidance and influence of the Comintern on the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of China, which was held in Moscow in 1927,when the Chinese Communist Party was still weak and unable to find a safe venue for its meetings. In order to help the Chinese Communist Party of its affiliated branches to solve the problems encountered by the Chinese revolution at that time and to ensure the smooth convening of the Sixth Communist Party Congress in Moscow, the Comintern provided it with comprehensive guidance. Before and after the Sixth Congress, the Comintern not only helped the Chinese Communist Party to choose the venue and protect the participants, but also actively created momentum for the Congress, analysed and advised on the fundamental issues of the Chinese Revolution, guided the adoption of the resolutions of the Congress, formed the new Central Committee and had a profound impact on the development of the Chinese Revolution.Studying the guidance and influence of the Comintern on the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of China reveals that the CPC in the new era must both uphold its independence and actively promote the international communist movement towards new developments in its foreign relations.
