Research On Improving Police Efficiency Of Basic-level Police Stations

In recent years,as reforms have deepened,conflicts at the grassroots level have gradually increased.As the primary responsibility for maintaining social order,grassroots police stations are facing an increasing number of tasks to maintain national security and social stability,which are becoming more and more challenging.This requires grassroots police stations to have high levels of operational efficiency to cope with these tasks.However,low operational efficiency in grassroots police stations is a common problem.It is necessary for grassroots public security to adjust their work ideas,innovate their working methods,continuously enhance their frontline combat capabilities,and improve their operational efficiency in order to better solve various conflicts and problems exposed during the reform process,and thus comprehensively enhance their capacity and level to maintain national security and social stability.This article mainly uses the "no growth without improvement" theory and the "collaborative governance" theory to analyze the operational efficiency of G district police substation,and deeply explores the current status and causes of operational efficiency construction in grassroots police stations.Based on this,it provides path suggestions.This study found that there are issues in the construction of operational efficiency in grassroots police stations.These include inadequate party leadership in policing work,insufficient implementation of prevention and early warning work,inadequate and insufficient police patrols,inadequate police support,insufficient police resources,and low satisfaction among the public with the work of grassroots police stations.Through research and analysis,the factors contributing to the aforementioned issues include weak awareness of strict party governance in policing,inefficient policing mechanisms,lack of precision in basic work,gaps in criminal prevention and control work,unscientific police resource allocation,and imprecise police support.Based on this,advanced experience and practices of domestic police stations in reform exploration were combined with proposed strategies to improve the operational efficiency of police stations.These include: 1)implementing strict party governance in policing responsibilities;2)improving the dominant one-room and two-team mechanisms;3)promoting control of basic public security elements;4)enhancing collaborative governance;5)optimizing police force deployment;and 6)strengthening grassroots support.Theoretical research is aimed at supporting practical exploration and effectively improving the operational efficiency of grassroots police stations to meet the new requirements of high-quality development.
