| With the increasing number of the elderly population and the change of the family structure towards hollowing and miniaturization,the problem of providing for the elderly has gradually emerged.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stressed that "we should firmly grasp the most concerned,direct and realistic interests of the people,and realize,safeguard and develop the fundamental interests of the people".The 2023 government work report also proposed to strengthen the guarantee of elderly care services.Accurately and effectively meeting the multi-level and diversified elderly care needs of the elderly is an important measure to solve the elderly care problem and safeguard the fundamental interests of the elderly.Community home-based old-age support has the advantages of both family and institutional old-age support,so that the elderly can realize their desire to care for the elderly without leaving the original social network and familiar social environment,and at the same time,they can also enjoy the services that can only be obtained in institutional care.On the basis of the existing research,this paper combines Maslow’s hierarchy of demand theory,social support theory,community care theory,welfare diversification theory,and adopts the method of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to analyze the development and demand of community home-based elderly care services in Hefei;SPSS statistical software was used to make a descriptive analysis of the basic situation of the survey sample and the demand for community home-based elderly care services;Then,single factor analysis and multiple ordered logistic regression are used to find out the factors that affect the demand for community home-based elderly care services for the elderly in Hefei,analyze the existing problems of community home-based elderly care services in Hefei,and then propose corresponding countermeasures for the existing problems.It is found that through single-factor analysis,the factors affecting the demand for home-based elderly care services in four types of communities,namely medical care,life care,spiritual comfort,and recreational activities,are: age,gender,education level,self-care level,whether they have chronic diseases,marital status,number of children,living style,frequency of visits at home,nature of the unit when working,and monthly income level.The results of multivariate ordered logistic regression analysis showed that there were four influencing factors of home service in the healthcare community: gender,age,marital status,and frequency of children’s home visits.There are three influencing factors of home services in life care communities:age,degree of self-care,and frequency of children’s home visits;There are four influencing factors of home services in spiritual comfort communities: age,degree of self-care,whether they suffer from chronic diseases,and mode of residence;There are two influencing factors of community home services for recreational activities: age and marital status.At present,the development of community home-based elderly care services in Hefei faces problems such as imperfect construction of community home-based elderly care service facilities,urgent need to meet the demand for multi-level elderly care services,low comprehensive quality of service personnel,low level of service intelligence,insufficient capital guarantee,and low understanding and acceptance of community home-based elderly care services by the elderly.In view of the above problems,this paper improves the construction of elderly care service facilities and improves service efficiency;Assess the needs of different elderly groups and improve the accuracy of elderly care services;Cultivate a team of professionals and improve service quality;Encourage the coordinated participation of multiple entities and expand financing channels;Strengthen publicity and improve service awareness,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions. |
