Nowadays,China has entered a new era of socialist development,facing new tasks and new requirements,we must comprehensively build a loyal,clean and responsible high-quality cadres to take up the historic responsibility of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Cadre education and training is an important initiative to train party leaders and cadres and build a superior talent team,and it also faces higher standards and stricter requirements.The public sector must further improve the quality of cadre education and training,enhance the overall quality and ability of cadres,and better serve the socialist modernization construction.This research takes the S Municipal Party School of Organs Working Committee in southern Jiangsu as an example and integrates participant observation method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and comparative research method,guided by training achievement transformation theory,human capital theory and Kirkpatrick model,to conduct a study on how to further improve the quality of cadre education and training.The study found that the following problems exist in the education and training of cadres in the S Municipal Party School of Organs Working Committee:cadres are not highly satisfied with the training,the degree of knowledge mastery varies,the training migration effect is poor,the tracking and incentive mechanism needs to be strengthened,and the causes of the problems are analyzed from three perspectives of managers,organizers and participants,mainly the education and training concept lags behind,the training mechanism needs to be improved,the training demand survey is insufficient,the teaching and research force The main causes of the problems are the lagging education and training concept,the training mechanism needs to be improved,the training demand survey is not enough,the teaching and research force is not enough,the management system is not strict,the cadres’ awareness of training is not in place,and the engineering contradiction of cadres is prominent.By drawing on the excellent practices of cadre education and training at home and abroad,this research argues that in order to improve the quality of cadre education and training in the public sector,we should start from at least three aspects:optimizing the top-level design,improving the training system and innovating the management mechanism,cracking the problems that restrict the development of training,continuously improving the effectiveness of training,and adapting to the new situation and new requirements of cadre education and training in the new era.
