Research On Grid Management In J Town,Nanchang City Under The Background Of COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention And Control

The epidemic broke out in Nanchang in March 2022.Because of the rapid and wide spread of the epidemic,the entire Nanchang area was grelatly affected.As an important part of grass-roots governance,rural areas directly affect the social stability of the whole city.At this time,the grass-roots government applied the grid management mode,which played an effective role in resisting the attack of the epidemic,maintaining the stability of rural areas and providing public services for the people.Of course,many problems also arose in the process.Studying the grid management mode in the context of epidemic prevention and control is completely different from the model in daily work,but it also provides new ideas and challenges for comprehensively improving the level of grass-roots services.The research object of this paper is J Town of Nanchang City,mainly studying the practical effect of implementing grid management mode in the process of prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.Relying on the new public service theory,grid governance theory and refined management theory,this paper empirically analyzes the problems and causes of grid management in J Town during the epidemic prevention and control period through literature research,case study and interview.This paper argues that rural grid management lags behind in the transformation of governance concept.Then,this paper also points out the contradiction between supply and demand of public services,the lack of grid refinement,and the imperfect assessment system.The main reasons for the problems in the grid epidemic prevention and control in J Town are as follows: the influence of traditional administrative thought on the level of public services,the weak construction of grid team,the unimpeded information communication channels,and the weak awareness of public participation.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward targeted and operational countermeasures and suggestions from four aspects to further improve the grid management ability and service level of grass-roots government.
