Home-school cooperation is an important component in the development of educational modernization and a key link in improving the quality of education.Shanghai,as the leader in the reform and development of basic education in China,has a relatively rich practice of exploring home-school cooperation,but in rural schools in the suburbs of Shanghai,home-school cooperation still lags behind and lacks mature practices and effective models.This study takes School S in Shanghai as the research object,according to the actual situation of the school’s home-school cooperation,based on the theory of overlapping influence threshold,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case study method,in the form of a combination of quantitative and qualitative research.On the basis of survey statistics and interview results,the current situation of home-school cooperation in rural schools in Shanghai is examined from three dimensions: cognitive,practical and outcome,revealing the problems that exist in the actual cooperation process in rural schools,and verified with the help of the interview method;this research is mainly based on the theoretical external structure model,supplemented by the internal structure model,combined with interview data,focusing on typical cases,focusing on analyzing three dimensions of influence: family,school,and society,and based on educational practice,put forward optimization strategies.The study found that parents and teachers in rural schools in Shanghai are generally positive in their willingness and attitude towards home-school cooperation,but the actual participation rate of home-school cooperation is lower than the willingness to participate,and most parents are satisfied with the status quo.The specific problems are manifested in the biased cognition of parents and teachers on home-school cooperation,the simplification of home-school cooperation objects,the lack of vitality in the cooperation process,the superficiality of cooperation content,and the imperfect institutional system.As far as influencing factors are concerned,factors from family,school,and society have independent influences on Shanghai rural schools,and they also have overlapping effects,which together affect the effectiveness of home-school cooperation.Based on the above findings,it is necessary to implement family The main responsibility,the school’s leading role,and the strengthening of social coordination are three aspects to promote the "home,school,and community" collaborative education of Shanghai rural schools.
