| With the accelerated development of aging in China, the miniaturization of family structure, the continuous increase of different groups of elderly people such as the elderly, the disabled, living alone and empty nesters, and the improvement of the living standard of the elderly, the diversification, refinement and personalization of the elderly residents’ needs for elderly services have put forward higher requirements for the precise configuration of community elderly service facilities. Therefore,it is important to study the scientific layout of elderly service facilities on the scale of "community living circle" to provide efficient and convenient elderly service to the elderly residents. This study defines the meaning of "community living circle for the elderly" based on the concepts of "living circle","community living circle" and "elderly"."It also analyzes the characteristics of community life circle for the elderly from three perspectives: spatial scale, types of facilities and spatial layout of facilities. The spatial evaluation method of community elderly service facilities is proposed from four levels of coverage, clustering, matching and accessibility according to the previous research. And taking Wujiang District as an example, the spatial distribution characteristics of community elderly service facilities in Wujiang District are analyzed and spatially evaluated by using four steps:analysis of travel characteristics of the elderly in Wujiang District, identification of community elderly service centers, division of spatial units, and integration of existing planning spatial boundaries to delineate the community living circle of the elderly in Wujiang District.Based on the evaluation results,a problem analysis of the spatial distribution of community elderly service facilities is carried out,and based on the existing problems,a plan for optimizing the layout of community elderly service facilities is proposed from two aspects, namely zoning optimization and facility optimization, based on the optimization principles. |
