Research On The Essence Of Ideological And Political Education

The essence of ideological and political education is the “basis of theory”,“basis of image”and “basis of practice” of ideological and political education,and is the basic problem and theory of ideological and political education.In the face of the continuous examination of the question of “what is” in the practice and effectiveness of ideological and political education,the study of the essence of ideological and political education has become necessary to further improve the scientific and disciplinary nature of ideological and political education.To reveal the essence of ideological and political education requires not only philosophical concepts as a guiding method,but also the form of expression as a condensed statement.On the one hand,the study of the essence of ideological and political education should follow the philosophical method of dialectical materialism,i.e.,the process essentialism to reveal the kind of ideological and political education.On the other hand,since the non-empirical essential properties always need further explanation in terms of their expressive effect,the expression of the essence of ideological and political education should be summarized by the concept of empirical things.Specifically,first of all,the macro comparison of “occurrence-process-evaluation” and the micro analysis of “purpose-contradiction-law” are determined.The essence of ideological and political education is explored in the dimensions of co-occurrence and ephemerality,contingency and actuality,and practice and effectiveness.Then it emphasizes the difference and connection between essence and law,essence and image,essence and occurrence,abstracts the image in the real evaluation according to the value of ideological and political education,and draws the process-like state of its essence.The essence of ideological and political education is and should be the “transmission of the will of the state”.First of all,the “state” is the subject of ideological and political education in history and reality,which gives ideological and political education ideological power;secondly,the content of ideological and political education is expressed in terms of “state will”,which can include a wide range of interests in the same direction as the state will.Finally,the process of ideological and political education is the process of transmitting the cohesive will of the people and the will of the ruling class to the people in the form of state will from the macroscopic point of view,and the process of transmitting the content of ideological and political education to the educated and re-transmitting it from the microscopic point of view.From a comprehensive point of view,the basic elements of ideological and political education are educational content and educated people(educator is one of the basic elements of “Civic Science Course”).Based on the basic contradictions and basic laws of ideological and political education,it is further determined that the basic contradiction of content is the unity of ideology and non-ideology,and the basic contradiction of process is the information asymmetry between the will of the state and the will of individuals.Then,the laws of ideological and political education content and process deduced from these specific contradictions confirm that the essence of ideological and political education content is “national will” and the essence of process is “transmission(national will)”.The content of ideological and political education should be in line with the state will,and the nurturing property of ideological and political education determines that the state will needs to be in the same direction as morality in order to achieve the purpose of conduction;the process of ideological and political education must insist on the unity of transmission and guidance in order to regulate information asymmetry,and the heterogeneity of the state will and personal will determines that the duty of educators as intermediaries is to conduction the state will rather than their personal will.If educators replace the state’s will with their personal will for the sake of transient “effectiveness”,it will essentially weaken “effectiveness”.
