| With the acceleration of urbanization,great changes have taken place in the development of rural areas and farmers.The use of rural land is more extensive,and the speed of land urbanization is faster than that of population urbanization.Urbanization has enabled farmers to develop constantly in the process of moving towards citizenization,and farmers’ lifestyle,living style,employment style,etc.are undergoing unprecedented changes.In the process of urbanization,the relocation of colleges and universities drives the urbanization of surrounding villages and farmers,which is a special type of urbanization.This thesis uses questionnaires,in-depth interviews and other methods to investigate the impact of college relocation on the surrounding villages and farmers’ lives,especially through the improvement of supporting measures around the countryside before and after college relocation,changes in the rural environment,the development of the village collective economy,changes in farmers’ employment methods,and differences in farmers’ income increasing ways,to deeply analyze the impact of college relocation on the village environment,villagers’ lives,economic income,and employment behavior.After the relocation of colleges and universities,the average income of farmers in surrounding villages increased by 2000 yuan;The main employment mode has changed from farming before relocation to self-employed and commercial service employees after relocation;Supermarkets and catering service stores increased by 66 compared with those before relocation;The collective economic benefits of some villages have reached 10 million yuan per year;12 asphalt roads,26 bus stops and one bus hub have been newly expanded in the surrounding areas;Optimization of living environment such as theme parks and fitness places;According to these findings,the comprehensive effects of university relocation on the surrounding villages and farmers’ lives are comprehensively evaluated.From the dimensions of the government,universities,society,village collectives and farmers themselves,the thesis shows the countermeasures and suggestions for the relocation of colleges and universities to better integrate the nearby villages and farmers into the urbanization life,and puts forward that in the process of urbanization,multiple agents should work together to promote the improvement of the living conditions of the surrounding villages and farmers,grasp the regional advantages,rely on the potential cultural and economic values of colleges and universities,and seek a scientific model driven by multiple agents.Take colleges and universities as the link between the main bodies,strengthen the connection between the main bodies in the development,fully share regional resources in combination with their own advantages,drive the overall development of the surrounding areas,achieve the coordinated development of the government,colleges and universities,enterprises,village collectives and farmers themselves,and improve the living conditions of suburban farmers based on the driving role of the relocation of colleges and universities in the surrounding areas. |
