Research On The Publicity Of The Northeast Anti-Japanese War In Shun Pao

In September 1931,after the Japanese imperialists launched the September 18 Incident to invade the Northeast,the local resistance war in the Northeast officially began,which is also the beginning of China’s 14-year war of resistance against Japan.The Northeast War of Resistance has a special historical status and significance in the history of China’s war of resistance,the war of resistance against Japan from the local war of resistance to the development of a comprehensive war of resistance,only the Northeast War of Resistance is completely throughout the 14-year history of the war of resistance.Under the brutal ravages of Japanese imperialism,the Northeast was completely colonized,and all aspects of political,military,economic,cultural,and social development were severely damaged.In response to this grim reality,the people of the Northeast spontaneously organized anti-Japanese movements,and the Communist Party organizations in the Northeast took the lead in raising the banner of anti-Japanese salvation and organized anti-Japanese armies to actively fight against Japan.At the same time,the Northeast War of Resistance also received widespread sympathy and support from home and abroad,which was one of the reasons why the Northeast War of Resistance was maintained and won.In the course of the Northeastern military and civilian resistance and salvation movement,the newspaper "Declaration" has been playing an important role in public opinion and propaganda,and has also recorded the whole process of the Northeastern resistance,thus becoming an important historical material for the study of the Northeastern resistance.Therefore,this article is based on the textual analysis of the 1931-1945 "Declaration",and then roughly restore the whole picture of the Northeast War,and finally summarize in order to obtain experience and inspiration.The article is roughly divided into the following chapters.Chapter 1 is the introductory part,which mainly explains the rationality of the topic selection of this thesis from several aspects: the basis of this thesis,the significance of the research,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,the research ideas and methods,and the innovation and shortcomings.Therefore,it is a relatively new research angle to sort out the whole process of the Northeast War of Resistance from the news reports of the newspaper,which is a deeper excavation and utilization of the historical materials about the Northeast War of Resistance,and can also be a supplement to the study of the Northeast War of Resistance and the study of the newspaper.Chapter 2 introduces the historical background of "Declaration" and its realistic basis for propaganda coverage of the Northeast War.Firstly,the historical background and political tendencies of the newspaper are analyzed.As a newspaper giant in modern Chinese history,the newspaper had its own development and evolution process,and the news reporting orientation formed in the long-term development process would also influence the reports of the newspaper about the Northeast War of resistance during the war period.The identity of the press also dictated that the newspaper was bound to have its own political orientation,especially under the influence of the general context of the war and the personal choices of the newspaper’s presiding officers.Secondly,we analyze the realistic basis for the propaganda and coverage of the war in the Northeast.Japan began to plot against the Northeast long before the outbreak of the September 18 Incident.The newspaper was keenly aware of the series of preparations made by Japan for the war of aggression,and actively reported on the anti-Japanese struggle of the people of the Northeast after the Wanbao Mountain Incident and the Korean Exclusion Incident,giving an account of the tense situation in the Northeast,which was an integral part of the newspaper’s reports on the Northeast resistance and was the realistic basis for reporting on the Northeast resistance.Chapter 3 is the main part of this paper,which comprehensively analyzes the propaganda coverage of the Northeastern resistance war in Declarations.Firstly,all the news reports related to the Northeast War of resistance in the newspaper were sorted out,and then classified according to the subject of the reports.The first is to expose the crimes of Japanese invasion of China in the Northeast,mainly from four aspects:military,political,economic,and cultural;the second is to expose the essence of the pseudo-Manchu regime,which was a puppet regime strictly controlled by Japanese imperialism in all aspects;the third is to report on the struggle of the Northeast AntiJapanese Volunteer Army against Japan.It also covers the assistance given to the volunteers from all over the world;fourthly,it reports on the arduous resistance of the Communist armed forces,including the early development and the anti-Japanese activities during the period of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Army;sixthly,it reports on the domestic and foreign reactions to the Japanese invasion of Northeast China.These six aspects basically cover all aspects of the Northeast War of Resistance,and are a vivid restoration of the whole process of the Northeast War of Resistance.Chapter 4 analyzes the features,roles and shortcomings of the propaganda and coverage of the Northeast War in the newspaper "Declarations".After summarizing the propaganda coverage of the war in the Northeast in Chapter 3,we find that it has three main characteristics: prominent theme,rich and comprehensive content,and obvious political orientation.The propaganda coverage of the Northeast War was always centered on the political theme of anti-Japanese resistance and salvation,and a large number of materials related to the war were selected to cover various aspects of the Northeast War,with a political orientation of solidarity with the Northeast War and support for the Communist War.These reports had a strong public opinion guiding effect,and were able to educate the public on patriotism,encourage the Northeast and the whole country to fight against the war,and gain sympathy and support from home and abroad.At the same time,however,the propaganda coverage of the war in the northeast of China in Declarations also had the shortcomings of decreasing in length over time.Chapter 5 summarizes the experience and insights of the propaganda coverage of the war in the Northeast.The propaganda coverage of the war in the Northeast by the newspaper is undoubtedly a success,which is closely related to its keeping up with the changes in the current situation,insisting on rational analysis and correct value orientation.thus creating a favorable public opinion environment to serve social development.
