Research On The Application And Challenges Of The Concept Of Righteousness And Benefit In The Construction Of China’s International Strategy In The New Era

As an important ethical value content in traditional Chinese culture,the relationship between righteousness" and "profit" has an important and profound impact on the values and thinking styles of China from ancient times to the present.In the current international context,the issue of righteousness and interest is a moral and interest choice that all actors in the international community will face.The concept of righteousness and benefit,which balances morality,responsibility and the value connotation of win-win cooperation between actors,has played an important role in the construction of contemporary China’s international strategy,and has had a wide and far-reaching impact on the formulation and practice of China’s foreign policy since the founding of New China.This paper focuses on the application and challenges of the concept of righteousness and benefit in the new era in China’s international strategy construction.Firstly,the dialectical relationship between "righteousness" and "profit" in traditional China and the theoretical connotation of the formation of China’s international strategy are expounded,and it is believed that the concept of righteousness and benefit in China’s international strategy has been formed and continuously developed on the basis of the needs of China’s diplomatic development guided by Marxism,based on the concept of righteousness and benefit in China’s excellent traditional culture,and at the same time drawing on and absorbing the excellent content of Western countries’ righteousness and benefit,showing the characteristics of the Chinese concept of righteousness and benefit of "combining righteousness and benefit"and "promoting righteousness and benefit".It shows distinctive characteristics of the times in different historical periods.From the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China formulated foreign policies and strategies on national interests and international morality,reflecting the different tendencies of interests and morality in the practice of China’s diplomatic strategy at different times under the changes in the international environment and interstate relations,from focusing on national interests and the maintenance of the external environment of security and stability to the realization of overall interests under the premise of ensuring national sovereignty and security,and assuming more international responsibilities and obligations,peace and cooperation have gradually become the main ways of safeguarding interests.In the new era,on the basis of inheriting the diplomatic concept of New China,the concept of righteousness and benefit in China’s international strategy is more embodied in the theoretical construction and specific application of the correct concept of righteousness and benefit in China’s foreign strategy,and its ideas such as the "community with a shared future for mankind" and the "Belt and Road" initiative put forward by Xi Jinping have a way of "putting righteousness first" and "taking both righteousness and interests" into account with developing countries and neighboring countries,which has promoted the construction and development of partnership and enriched the diplomatic concept with Chinese characteristics.It can be seen that the concept of righteousness and benefit has made considerable achievements in the process of construction and practice of China’s international strategy,and has improved the influence of China’s concept of righteousness in the international community.However,due to the differences between the concepts of different civilizations,the lack of China’s discourse ability,and the complex and changeable international pattern,the international community is still facing certain challenges.In this regard,in the future,it is necessary to further break the erroneous argument of black China,strengthen the discourse dissemination ability of the concept of righteousness and benefit and the shaping of the national image,deal with the differences of the concept of righteousness and benefit with the thinking of "seeking common ground while reserving differences",enhance the international community’s overall cognition and value recognition of China,maintain strategic concentration to cope with the changes in the past century,so as to better balance national interests and safeguard international morality,and promote the continuous improvement and development of China’s international strategy while implementing the rich connotation of the correct concept of righteousness and benefit.
