Study On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Urban Ethnic Work In Lhasa City

General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed at the 2021 Central Ethnic Work Conference that the construction of grassroots ethnic work institutions should be strengthened,ethnic work forces should be strengthened,and the effective implementation of grassroots ethnic work should be guaranteed.The strengthening of ethnic work in urban communities lies in serving the people of all ethnic groups and consolidating the grassroots foundation of the Party’s rule,which means ethnic unity,community harmony and the demand for social stability.At present,the ethnic work in urban communities should improve the level of the party and government as the center,the whole society to participate in the formation of "common governance" governance network,improve the integrity and synergy of urban community ethnic work,and further innovation of urban community ethnic work governance ideas.Community ethnic work is the focus of urban ethnic work in the new era,and it is also the linkage and radiation point of the whole society’s ethnic work.Guided by socialist ethnic theory and policy with Chinese characteristics,urban community ethnic work fully integrates community party organizations,community intermediary organizations and community ethnic work mechanisms at the grassroots level to play the role of being close to and serving the ethnic minority masses,truly listening to the people’s voices,understanding their feelings,respecting their customs and solving their worries.China is a multi-ethnic country,and in recent years the cross-regional mobility of ethnic minority areas has been increasing.Without the harmony and unity of all ethnic groups,it is difficult for society to be stable and orderly,and it is impossible to develop harmoniously.At present,to do a good job of urban community ethnic work,to deepen the ethnic unity and progress of education,consolidate and develop a harmonious new socialist ethnic relations is crucial.General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed: "Since the reform and opening up,China has entered an active period of cross-regional mobility of various ethnic groups,with the population of ethnic minorities moving to the east and mainland cities on a large scale,and the population of the mainland moving to ethnic areas and between different ethnic groups on a large scale.Therefore,it is increasingly important to do a good job in urban ethnic work." These important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping highlight the importance of ethnic work in urban communities to ethnic work and even urban work,which plays a pivotal role in the national governance system and requires us to have a high sense of political responsibility and a strong political commitment to attach importance to urban ethnic work and strengthen the management of ethnic affairs in urban communities,in order to enhance ethnic unity,deepen the interaction and integration of various ethnic groups,and cast a firm It has provided strong support to enhance ethnic unity,deepen the interaction and integration of various ethnic groups,and forge the sense of community of the Chinese nation.This paper takes the community ethnic work governance model of Tama community in Chengguan District,Lhasa as a case study,and summarizes the current situation of community ethnic relations and the characteristics of ethnic relations by studying the characteristics of the mobile population in this community.Taking Marxist ethnic relations theory and field theory as the core,the dilemmas of how to reasonably position community ethnic work,the imperfect collection and sharing mechanism of information data of the mobile population in minority areas,the need to improve the quality and capacity of community ethnic work cadres,and the need to innovate the governance model of community ethnic affairs are analyzed.It also explores the space where community ethnic work can be improved.By promoting positive interactions among ethnic groups,we aim to achieve social harmony and stability,long-term peace and stability of the country,and comprehensive development of all ethnic groups.
