Empirical Study Of Legal Aid Work In Lhasa

Legal aid is an important manifestation of the state’s respect for and protection of human rights.Legal aid work is led by the staff of legal aid centers and social lawyers as the main body,providing free legal aid services for the recipients.Legal aid plays an indispensable role in maintaining social stability,promoting ethnic unity,reconciling social contradictions and realizing fairness and justice.This article takes the legal aid work in Lhasa City as the research object,and adopts methods such as questionnaire survey,on-site interviews,and case analysis to investigate the development of legal aid work in Lhasa City.Through a series of investigations and studies,the author has gained a certain understanding of the legal aid work in Lhasa City and summarized the implementation effectiveness of legal aid work in Lhasa City,At the same time,it has also been discovered that there are four prominent problems in the development of legal aid work in Lhasa:weak legal aid teams,unreasonable allocation mechanisms for legal aid cases,lagging subsidy standards and single source channels,and lack of quality monitoring for legal aid cases.By analyzing the causes of the above prominent problems one by one,the author aims to strengthen the construction of legal aid institutions and teams We have put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions that are in line with the actual situation of Lhasa city in terms of expanding the channels of funding sources,increasing subsidy standards,and strengthening the mechanism for ensuring case quality.As the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region,Lhasa city is richer in legal aid resources than other cities,so it is more typical to study the legal aid work in Lhasa city.This paper researches and discusses the legal aid work in Lhasa city,and proposes corresponding countermeasures based on the identification of problems,hoping to have a positive impact on the development of legal aid work in Lhasa city and Tibet Autonomous Region.
