| Since the reform and opening up,a large number of rural surplus labor force have got rid of the shackles of land,and they have entered cities and towns to work in non-agricultural industries.There is no doubt that migrant workers have provided a large number of labor force and injected vitality for the rapid social and economic development of our country.However,due to the limitations of urban-rural dual structure and household registration system,migrant workers face many obstacles in the process of integrating into the city.Such a large group of migrant workers has become a key factor to promote the change of social structure in our country.In view of this,China has continued to accelerate the pace of urbanization,especially since the beginning of the 21 st century,the new type of urbanization construction,highlighting people-oriented,how to transform migrant workers into citizens has become the key to the development of urbanization.Through the analysis of interview cases and using the survey data of migrant workers in Sichuan,this paper studies the impact of residence permit on migrant workers’ citizenization intention from the perspective of micro individuals,and whether there is heterogeneity.This paper makes a detailed analysis of these problems in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of residence permits on the citizenization of migrant workers and put forward policy recommendations for the promotion of citizenization.This paper takes the citizenization willingness as the starting point,through the induction and analysis of the existing research,combs the literature on the influencing factors of migrant workers’ citizenization intention and the relevant research on residence permit system,and quotes the relevant theoretical model.and the policy changes of the residence permit system are summarized,combined with case analysis,questionnaire survey and empirical analysis to study the impact of residence permit on migrant workers’ citizenization intention.The empirical part uses the questionnaire survey data of the topic "New needs of migrant Workers in Sichuan Province" of Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences in 2020.This study mainly aims at the integration of the cities of the questionnaire into this section.Combined with marital status,education and other basic characteristics of individuals and social security,vocational training and other social characteristics to study the impact of residence permit system on the citizenization will of migrant workers.A total of 4290 questionnaires were collected from migrant workers registered in Sichuan.After screening and elimination,the final valid sample size was 2514.On this basis,after describing and analyzing the current situation of Sichuan migrant workers’ willingness to return home to start a business,this paper uses STATA.16 statistical software to analyze the impact of residence permit on migrant workers’ citizenization intention.The conclusion shows that residence permit has a significant positive impact on migrant workers’ citizenization will,that is,residence will greatly enhance migrant workers’ citizenization will.Through heterogeneity analysis,it is found that the impact of residence permit on the citizenization intention of trained migrant workers is more significant;the impact of residence permit on the citizenization intention of uneducated migrant workers is not significant.For educated migrant workers,the citizenization intention is significant;residence permit is significant for different generations of migrant workers,but the impact on the first generation of migrant workers is more obvious.Finally,according to the above research conclusions,the paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations: it is suggested that the government should further promote the popularization and convenient processing of residence permits for migrant workers;improve the relevant contents of residence permits in vocational training;enhance the gold content of residence permits,promote the equalization of basic public services;strengthen the reform of residence permits and lower the threshold for processing. |
