| With the economic development and social progress in rural areas of China,compulsory education has also made significant progress.With the joint efforts of the central and local governments,Xinhua County successfully lifted itself out of poverty in 2019,and education and the economy have developed rapidly,transforming it from a provincial-level impoverished county to an "education-strong county." However,due to the lack of educational resources and insufficient education funding in rural areas,there are still problems with rural compulsory education,such as teacher shortages,outdated teaching facilities,and low education quality.To address these problems,digital education has become an important means for high-quality development of rural compulsory education.This study aims to explore the impact and role of digital empowerment on high-quality development of rural compulsory education,in order to provide reference and guidance for improving rural compulsory education.In order to bridge the gap between the current development status of rural compulsory education and the high-quality development goal and solve the existing problems of rural compulsory education,this paper takes Xinhua County of Loudi City as the research object,investigates the satisfaction impact of digital empowerment on the high-quality development of rural compulsory education through questionnaire survey and data analysis,and summarizes and analyzes the influencing factors.Firstly,the relevant research results at home and abroad are summarized,and the demand management theory,supply and demand theory,digital transformation theory,education satisfaction theory,and the application of these theories in the high-quality development of digitally-empowered rural compulsory education are expounded.Secondly,through the third edition of the ICT Competency Framework for Teachers,an index system is constructed,six major factors are summarized: policy cognition,curriculum evaluation,education and teaching,digital skills,organization and management,and teacher learning,and the path of digitally-empowered rural compulsory education is explored according to the indicator system.Thirdly,the development status of rural compulsory education in Xinhua County was analyzed and studied through questionnaire survey,the factors affecting the digital teaching ability of teachers in Xinhua County were studied from six dimensions through single-factor analysis,and correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to explore teachers’ satisfaction with school digital technology,and satisfaction was used as the dependent variable to explore the high-quality development path of digitally-empowered rural compulsory education,and effectively evaluate the effect and impact of digitally-empowered rural compulsory education high-quality development.On this basis,the problems and reasons for the high-quality development of rural compulsory education empowered by digital empowerment in Xinhua County were analyzed.Finally,the corresponding development paths are summarized according to the research conclusions.Through the framework of the theoretical framework,it is concluded that policy cognition tools can help decision-makers better understand policies and regulations in the field of compulsory education,curriculum evaluation tools can help schools,teachers and students better understand the quality of courses,curriculum evaluation can also provide schools and teachers with data support on teaching conditions,education teaching tools can provide digital technical support for education and teaching activities,and digital skills tools can help students and teachers improve their digital skills in education and teaching activities.Organization management tools can improve the efficiency of education resource allocation,promote the digitalization of the whole process of education services,and achieve cross-institutional and cross-regional collaboration.Teacher learning tools can help school administrators better grasp the teaching situation of classes,teaching evaluation results,and other information.These six factors are the main influencing factors for the high-quality development of rural compulsory education empowered by digital.At the same time,using satisfaction to explore the high-quality development path of digitally-empowered rural compulsory education can effectively evaluate the effect and impact of digitally-empowered rural compulsory education high-quality development.Secondly,understanding the problems and challenges in the implementation of digital empowerment is also one of the key reasons for adopting the satisfaction inquiry path.Finally,the data analysis results of the satisfaction exploration path are clear and intuitive,which can better provide empirical support for digitally-enabled decision-making.The empirical results show that the scores in the six dimensions of policy cognition,curriculum evaluation,education and teaching,digital skills,organization and management,and teacher learning are above 3 points,which shows that primary and secondary school teachers in Xinhua County are at the middle level of digital teaching ability and technical ability,but they cannot reach the optimal state.Policy cognition,curriculum evaluation,education and teaching,digital skills,organizational management,and teacher learning all showed a significant positive impact on satisfaction,but the average scores of organizational management,digital skills,teacher learning,and education and teaching were all below 3.5 points,and the scores were low.In addition,this paper also investigates teachers’ satisfaction with digital technology in schools,and all dimensions show a significant positive impact on digital technology satisfaction.Based on the above results,it is found that Xinhua County has limited application of digital education,difficult for students to adapt to the learning style of digital education,and lack of educational resources in rural areas due to teachers’ insufficient understanding of digital technology,conservative thinking of teachers’ digital technology application scenarios,weak concept and foundation of rural students’ informatization,obvious gap in family education environment,weak hardware support of digital technology,and few opportunities for digital technology to continue learning provided by schools and enterprises.Based on the current situation analysis and empirical analysis results,the following optimization paths are proposed: explore a new path for the digital transformation of education,realize diversified integration and innovative development,strengthen the digital transformation of compulsory education resources,release the potential of compulsory education development and innovation,improve digital infrastructure construction,and create a new foundation for the digital transformation of education. |
