Research On Deng Xiaoping’s Thought Of Political Consultation

The formation of Deng Xiaoping’s political consultation thought has both theoretical origin and practical basis.Deng Xiaoping’s thought of political consultation comes from Marxist classical writers’ theory of the United Front,party cooperation and democratic politics;Mao Zedong’s theory on political consultation,as well as China’s excellent traditional culture of harmony,great unity and the idea that the world is for the public.During the Anti Japanese War,Deng Xiaoping carried out the "three three systems" principle in the Shanxi Hebei Henan border region.In the early days of the founding of new China,Deng Xiaoping took office as the first Secretary of the Southwest Bureau of the Communist Party of China and continued to promote the practice of United Front work.Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,the work of the CPPCC has been developing continuously.All these laid a practical foundation for the formation of Deng Xiaoping’s political consultation thought.Deng Xiaoping’s thought of political consultation originated during the Anti Japanese War and initially took shape from the founding of the people’s Republic of China to Deng Xiaoping’s assumption of the chairmanship of the fifth CPPCC.During Deng Xiaoping’s assumption of the chairmanship of the CPPCC,his thought of political consultation continued to mature and continued to develop after 1983.Deng Xiaoping’s thought of political consultation is rich in connotation.The main content of Deng Xiaoping’s thought of political consultation includes five aspects:the characteristics,main body,organization,principle and premise of political consultation.In terms of the characteristics of political consultation,Deng Xiao emphasized the inevitability,long-term nature,stability and universality of political consultation.As for the subject of political consultation,Deng Xiaoping pointed out that the Communist Party of China should adhere to political consultation with democratic parties and non party democratic personages.As for the institutions of political consultation,Deng Xiaoping stressed that the CPPCC,as an "important form of developing socialist democracy",needs to consult and discuss social issues,and its"task is very glorious".In terms of the principle of political consultation,Deng Xiaoping stressed that democracy must be institutionalized and legalized,the basic principle of the 16 character policy must be adhered to,and the principle of democratic centralism must be implemented.As far as the premise of political consultation is concerned,Deng Xiaoping stressed that the United Front,as a "broad alliance of patriots",is "still an important magic weapon",and its object range "should be wide".Deng Xiaoping’s thought of political consultation has distinctive characteristics,which are embodied in three characteristics:adhering to integrity and innovation,highlighting the historical consciousness and the consciousness of the times,and adhering to practice as the only standard for testing truth.Deng Xiaoping’s thought of political consultation is also of great significance.It has promoted the development of China’s socialist democracy,improved the basic framework of China’s democratic system in the new era,and provided useful enlightenment for the development of socialist consultative democracy in the new era.
