| With the deepening of the theory and practice of compulsory education reform in recent years,school selection for "junior high school" has gradually become a hot issue of close attention by students’ parents,and has also attracted special attention of the public.So far,although the government has optimized the teaching staff,standardized the enrollment policy,increased the investment in education and continuously optimized and improved the implementation of the policy,the problem still exists and needs to be seriously studied and solved.This paper mainly analyzes the current situation of school selection in Xi’an,provides a lot of data support for the solution of school selection problems in Xi’an,and also provides useful suggestions for optimizing school selection.By means of multi-party investigation and data access,this paper deeply discusses the current situation and problems of school selection in Xi’an,in order to explore the performance and causes of school selection problems.Through research,it is found that in the process of " junior high school promotion " in Xi’an,parents’ demand for school selection is relatively high as a whole.At the same time,parents will make sufficient preparations to improve the probability of success in school selection.The strong demand for school selection further leads to school selection problems,which are mainly reflected in the unequal supply of education,the scramble for high-quality school resources,the improper operation of school selection policies,the unreasonable educational structure.The main reasons lie in the unbalanced distribution of educational resources,the scarcity of high-quality educational resources,the non-standard policies and regulations and the imperfect educational structure.In the process of research,this paper draws lessons from the successful practical experience of school choice at home and abroad,such as balancing the allocation of educational resources,encouraging school selection competition,optimizing school selection policies,perfecting the system and so on.On this basis,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the school selection practice of " junior high school promotion " in Xi’an.The government should strive to balance the allocation of educational resources,establish a coordination mechanism between general education and vocational education,optimize school selection policies and regulations,and improve the education system,so as to govern and reform the school selection of " junior high school promotion " in Xi’an.At the same time,it should provide some reference for other cities to solve such problems. |
