Research On The Reconstruction Of Police-civilian Trust Relationship In Taizhou City During The New Media Er

A good trust relationship between the police and the public directly represents the harmonious coexistence between the police and the public,which has a positive impact on the daily work of the public security organs,can protect the legal rights of the public,promote the sustainable development of society,and continuously improve the comprehensive strength and influence of the country.With the continuous development and change of society,more research scholars have started to conduct in-depth studies on political trust.Police trust is an important way to measure political trust,which is of great significance to the harmonious and stable development of society.In reality,police trust is influenced by a variety of factors,among which police literacy and public expectation factors have a deeper impact on it.With the continuous innovation of new media technology,society has now entered the new media era.Public security departments should base on the future development,innovate the working mode,establish a good trust relationship between the police and the public,and provide guarantee for the implementation of various tasks.Police officers should constantly improve their personal literacy level,put people’s interests in the first place,help people solve practical problems,and optimize the overall image of public security departments in people’s hearts.This thesis focuses on police literacy and the relationship between police and public trust,by sorting out and summarizing relevant research theories,specifically covering police literacy,public expectations and other research theories,to provide a solid theoretical basis for the later discussion.At the same time,based on the new public service theory,we propose the following hypotheses:(1)main effect: if the police maintain good quality,it will bring positive influence to the establishment of trust relationship between the police and the public;on the contrary,if the police quality is low,it will bring negative influence to the trust relationship between the police and the public,leading to the public’s negative impression of the police,and eventually the cooperation with police work is low.(2)Mediating effect: public expectation can play a moderating role in police literacy and police-public trust relationship.The findings of the study cover the following points: First,police literacy and police trust relationship show a positive correlation,and they are interrelated.Second,public expectation has a positive mediating role between police literacy and police trust.Based on the research analysis,this paper proposes the reconstruction path of the trust relationship between the police and the public in Taizhou city community in the new media period in terms of establishing a scientific management system,enhancing public relations awareness,strengthening police team construction,and improving the guarantee support system.
