| The deep-rooted thought of hard to leave home and the idea of taking care of children and preventing old age are affecting the elderly in China,making most of the elderly in China take home-based care as the first choice.Home-based elderly care services not only effectively integrate the advantages of family and institutional elderly care,but also can rely on the elderly care service resources provided by communities(villages),professional services provided by home-based elderly care service institutions,and deepen the core of elderly care services.However,currently in China,home-based elderly care services have not yet fully developed,and the services provided to the elderly,such as spiritual care and assistance with daily living difficulties,are relatively crude.This has resulted in the inability to effectively meet the diverse material and multi-layered spiritual needs of the elderly.Therefore,China needs to provide intelligent home-based elderly care services that can accurately match service needs and achieve supply-demand matching.Based on Maslow’s demand,welfare pluralism,digital governance and other theories,this study conducted research on the supply and demand of smart home care services in Dongtou District by means of literature review,questionnaire distribution,and interview activities,and deeply analyzed the unbalanced supply and demand of smart home care services in the process of developing smart home care services in Dongtou District.It is specifically reflected in such problems as insufficient popularization of smart home-based care service,incomplete function of smart home-based care service facilities,weak degree of smart home-based care service supply in line with the demand of smart home-based care service,supply of smart home-based care service talents unable to match the demand of smart home-based care service talents,etc.,to further explore the causes of these problems.In view of the problems and causes,countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve the adaptability of the elderly to the smart home care service,improve the function of the smart home care service facilities,improve the degree of compatibility between the supply and demand of the smart home care service,and gradually improve the talent system of the smart home care service,so as to promote the better development of the smart home care service in Dongtou District.To sum up,this study is beneficial to gradually promote the balance of supply and demand of smart home care institutions in Dongtou District and improve the quality of life of the elderly in their later years. |
