Research On Road Traffic Safety Governance From The Perspective Of Risk Prevention

At present,China’s economy and society are in a stage of high-quality development,with continuous urbanization construction and rapid growth in the number of cars and road mileage.In recent years,various major road traffic accidents have occurred frequently in China,and road traffic safety has become a highly concerned social issue.This article takes Y County in Guangdong Province as an example,using analysis tools such as risk management theory,governance theory,and overall national security theory,and adopting research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,and comparative research,to study the road traffic safety governance issues in Y County.Firstly,the overview of roads in Y County was described,and a survey questionnaire was designed and distributed to the people of Y County.Based on the results of the survey questionnaire,the risk of road traffic safety in Y County was identified and evaluated within the framework of risk management theory.The risk control measures for road traffic safety in Y County and the effectiveness of risk management were introduced.Secondly,from the perspective of risk prevention,this article analyzes the four problems in road traffic safety governance in Y County: insufficient awareness of the importance of risk prevention,lax measures for risk prevention on pedestrian,vehicle,and road roads,unsatisfactory traffic safety publicity effects,and limited avenues for governance of traffic violations.The four reasons for the problems in road traffic safety governance in Y County were summarized and analyzed: the traditional concept of safety governance has not changed,the implementation of safety governance responsibilities is not in place,the identification of traffic safety risks is not precise,and the methods of traffic safety promotion need to be innovated.Finally,this article draws on the experience and practices of road traffic safety governance in Guangdong Province and other domestic cities,and proposes optimization suggestions for governance measures from the perspective of risk prevention,including compacting governance responsibilities,accurately preventing risks,innovating publicity methods,strengthening law enforcement,and maintaining long-term governance.This provides relevant reference for road traffic safety governance in Y County and even other mountainous counties.
