China has been a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural region since ancient times.Regional distribution and cultural differences of ethnic groups make how to promote the unity and development of ethnic areas become the focus of successive rulers.In the early days of the New China,the country put an end to the humiliation of being invaded and enslaved for more than one hundred years and embarked on a new historical journey.At the moment,China is in urgent need of a large number of outstanding talents to devote themselves to the construction and development of the socialist cause,so it is urgent to cultivate high-quality talents by means of education.The Communist Party of China has put forward a set of ethnic education policies in accordance with the national conditions according to the characteristics of ethnic minorities and the practical situation of ethnic education.Guangxi,home to 12 ethnic groups,has strong ethnic characteristics.It has made certain achievements and breakthroughs in ethnic education in the early period of New China,which has provided good talents for social development and opportunities for the lower class people in the early period of the founding of New China to learn new ideas,and promoted the historical journey of socialist transition.Starting from the ethnic education policy formulated by the Communist Party of China in the 1950 s,this paper analyzes the ethnic education measures taken by Guangxi under the guidance of the policy,and finds out some ethnic education achievements with practical significance,and summarizes them in order to provide some references for the ethnic education work in the future.The first chapter is the introduction,which discusses the research background and significance,points out the research ideas and research methods,and makes preparation for the later research.While clarifying the content and process of the research,it also points out the shortcomings of the existing research.The second chapter is divided into two parts.The first part starts from the basic concept and clarifies the concept definition of ethnic education and ethnic education policy.The second part focuses on the theoretical origin of the ethnic education policy of the Communist Party of China and the ethnic education policy of the Communist Party of China.The third chapter summarizes the historical background of the ethnic education policy carried out by the Communist Party of China in Guangxi in the 1950 s,and discusses the importance of ethnic education in Guangxi through the ethnic situation,social economy and education status.The fourth chapter expounds the main instructions of the Communist Party of China to carry out the ethnic education policy at the central level in the 1950 s,including setting up administrative institutions,increasing educational input,attaching importance to the construction of teachers,strengthening the education of minority cadres,and creating ethnic languages.The fifth chapter summarizes the local policies put forward and the specific practices carried out in Guangxi under the guidance of the central policy.The specific contents of the ethnic education policy are summarized from four aspects: oriented ethnic education,strengthening leadership,carrying out teaching,cultivating ethnic minority cadres,guaranteeing educational resources,giving preferential treatment to ethnic minority students,respecting ethnic characteristics,and creating ethnic languages,which are the guidelines for ethnic minority education.Chapter six summarizes the results of the ethnic education policy of the Communist Party of China in the specific practice of Guangxi,so as to discuss the historical experience of the practice of the ethnic education policy of the Party in Guangxi,and provide reference for the education of ethnic minorities in other areas.
