As a basic place for commodity trading, bazaars play an important role in the economic and cultural aspects of regional society, and therefore have become a long-term research field of ethnology. The field survey of Kaixiangong Village by Fei Xiaotong, the survey of Zouping Market in Shandong Province by Yang Qingkun, and the research on China’s rural market and social structure in Sichuan Province by G.William Skinner are classic discussions on China’s market research.Dali City, where Dali Prefecture is located,is located at the intersection of the Yunnan Myanmar Highway and the Yunnan Tibet Highway. In ancient times,it was an important hub for the "Sichuan Poison Road" and the "Tea Horse Ancient Road".It is now the central city, logistics center, and transportation hub of western Yunnan.Dali March Street, also known as the March Street Ethnic Festival, has the reputation of "chasing one street for thousands of years, one street is chased for thousands of years".Its main content is "singing and dancing for business",and it has a wide influence in product exhibition and economic and trade cooperation. However, for the residents of Dali Ancient Town and its surrounding areas, what is closely related to the daily life of the residents is a market that runs four days a month.Local residents call it "Gaizitian"."Gaizitian" in Dali Ancient Town,Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province,is a conventional market formed since ancient times. It mainly relies on the Guanyin Road in Dali Ancient Town and its surrounding physical geography, cultural and historical environment for long-term existence and sustainable development. It has played an important role in the development of local social economy, inheritance of local social culture, rural revitalization, and urban-rural integration.Through literature analysis, participatory observation, and individual interviews, this paper takes the mobile vendor group of "Gaizitian" in Dali Ancient Town as the research object, and through field field research, discusses the formation and development of the "Gaizitian" vendor group, the livelihood space and social culture of the flow of vendors, the survival resilience and group characteristics of vendors, the creation of vendors and sense of place, and the livelihood characteristics of vendors,Further sorting out the regularity, universality, and particularity of the livelihood methods of the mobile vendor community.By paying attention to the life history and social activities of the street vendor community, this study explores the social and cultural significance behind the mobile lifestyle of the street vendor community. This article consists of six parts,in addition to the introduction and conclusion. The introduction section introduces the reason and significance of the topic, summarizes research trends, defines concepts such as "Gaizitian","stall vendors",and "livelihood methods",and elaborates on research methods and innovative points. The first chapter introduces the physical geography and human history, time cycle and spatial structure, street catchers, and street workers of the "Gaizitian" in Dali Ancient Town. This paper attempts to use the spatial structure theory and actor network theory to explore the role of the "Gaizitian" periodic trade in the local economic, political, cultural and social systems of Dali Ancient Town. The second chapter takes the formation and development of the "Gaizitian" stall group in Dali Ancient Town as the starting point, analyzes the social and cultural environment of the stall group formed by the trade environment from ancient times to the present, the household business operation mode of the stall, the mobile livelihood from "freedom" to "self doing",and how the traditional local social environment in Dali Ancient Town has promoted the mobile livelihood of the "Gaizitian" stall. The third chapter discusses the living space and social culture of street vendors in Dali Ancient Town.Elaborate on the distribution and types of vendors,as well as the mobility of vendors, reflecting that the mobile livelihood of the "Gaizitian" vendor group includes the local social and cultural complex of the vendor group, and the vendor group constructs the characteristics of the "Gaizitian" symbolic commodity system. The fourth chapter focuses on the survival resilience and group characteristics of street vendors in Dali Ancient Town.Display the vendors’ stall setting methods, sales knowledge, and the construction and maintenance of social relationships, and provide a deep description of the vendors’ stall setting life scenes and living conditions. The survival resilience and group characteristics of street vendors are embedded in the traditional social relationships of Dali, forming a new type of social network. The fifth chapter discusses the relationship between the street vendors and the sense of locality in Dali Ancient Town through the discussion of local identity, local expression and local attachment.Reflecting a sense of locality,it enriches the cultural connotation of the "Gaizitian" commodity and promotes the protection and inheritance of traditional culture. The sixth chapter reflects on the mobile livelihood of the "Gaizitian" street vendors in Dali Ancient Town.Analyze how street vendors achieve an orderly mobile stall livelihood through mobility and migration, conflict and game, shaping and reconstruction. This paper draws the following conclusions: As an important part of the "street days" in the ancient city of Dali Ancient Town in Yunnan, the street vendor group has obtained an orderly living condition through informal and mobile livelihood. The number and types of "Gaizitian" vendor groups are large, and they can not be ignored in the process of Dali Ancient Town’s demonstration of ethnic unity and progress, the inheritance and protection of ethnic culture, the construction of an embedded community environment, the optimization of an embedded community environment, and the promotion of people of all ethnic groups to live, learn, build, share, work, and enjoy together to jointly build a beautiful home. This group is closely related to the life of local residents, accompanied by the modernization process of Dali Ancient Town, and is an important window to observe the transformation of the livelihood of ordinary people in Dali Ancient Town under the background of the integration and collision of individuals and society, tradition and modernity.Through the analysis and research on the dynamic process of the operation practice of the "Gaizitian" vendor group in the ancient city of Dali Ancient Town, this paper focuses on the impact of the mobile operation behavior of stall setting on the group’s practical logic,as well as the interaction and game between the floating population of ethnic minorities and lebensraum in the modernization development of Dali.It is believed that the floating livelihood of the "Gaizitian" street vendors in Dali Ancient Town has the characteristics of space-time regularity, locality, sociality, and the pluralistic integration of Dali’s social culture.Furthermore, this paper discusses the role of "Gaizitian" in Dali Ancient Town in sharing,co building and co governance in promoting community ethnic unity and progress, creating innovative development, and that "Gaizitian",as one of the engines to promote ethnic economic growth, serves as a platform to promote exchanges, exchanges and integration among ethnic groups, and street vendors conduct comprehensive interaction, contact and integration with the "Gaizitian" field,This fully demonstrates the breadth and depth of communication and integration among various ethnic groups in the Dali region. The mobile livelihood practice of the street vendors in "Gaizitian" is of great significance for promoting the strengthening of the sense of Chinese national community in Dali.
